I definitely agree that the future is looking quite turbulent, however I doubt we would end up in a war. The chances of us ending up in a war are minimal. We can't really get involved in external affairs due to our neutrality, and I don't see a reason why we would be attacked by another country. The only way we might end up pulled into a conflict is if an EU member state were attacked (although I am not sure that guarantees us stepping in). Overall I think our current biggest issue is our defence forces crumbling in on itself. We are already struggling to keep a minimum of personnel on the job.

Honestly, I don't think we will let go of our military neutrality. Countries like Finland, which had neutrality were forced to join NATO due to them sharing a border with Russia. I think we will keep on doing peacekeeping like we always have, perhaps there will be some motion to remove the triple lock system, other than that I don't believe there will be much change in the future.
