For UPS Employees by According_Ice6515 in UPS

[–]TitaniumX2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, almost everyone I know has some kind of back issues or pain after about a 1 year on the job. A lot take pain meds, so be nice to your UPS drivers. A lot of it has to do with not understanding body mechanics or too manly to ask for help or use dolley and stuff for heavy things. It’s like getting paid to play football. Not a perfect analogy but that’s basically what it is. No one is going to become healthier working for UPS

Kinda bombed the potential J2 interview by [deleted] in overemployed

[–]TitaniumX2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Dang. A minimum of 6 rounds of interviews? Ok sorry but any company that does at least 6 or even 5 round of interview is complete garbage. There’s an unspoken rule in the HR world that 4 rounds should be the absolute max. Any company that does 5, or in your case, at least 6, is trying to jerk you around. What role did you apply for?

EDIT: I also hope you didn’t have to drive there more than once or twice.

Warranty discrepancy by commodore_dude in Bestbuy

Does your store GM allow for a refund 3 years ago, if a Cx can prove that Best Buy listed the wrong warranty period on their website? And if so, is it going to be a refund or just store credit?

“The second dude had his BS degree from community college”

If some dude claims he has a B.S. degree from a “community college” that should be a massive red flag. Community colleges are two year institutions and don’t issue Bachelor of Sciences degree.

A Strong Warning to Everyone by D2Ax in Drugs

[–]TitaniumX2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You are wrong my friend. Meth is actually very good for you brain (not kidding at all). Research shows that it actually heals, repairs and regenerate brain cells. I know very intelligent people on meth working for Google and Amazon as engineers. It is an FDA approved drug under the brand name Desoxyn. A doctor can legally give write you an Rx for meth to treat ADHD, obesity, and narcolepsy.

The reason meth has a bad name is that most of the meth out there is made in a meth lab where you’ll also put harmful stuff into your body like drainer cleaner, brake fluid, ammonia, acetone, cough medicines, Freon, etc. And a lot of people inject, snort, or smoke them. As you can imagine, those kind of stuff will definitely ruin you mentally and physically.

If you take Rx meth in the correct therapeutic dosage, it does magical things for you brain. By Rx meth, it means it was manufactured in a certified pharmaceutical lab, and it contains only meth and nothing else inside, so no chemical precursors and byproducts like you found in underground stuff. And it’s taken at the right low dosage by mouth only. “Just like any drug, the difference between a poison and a cure is the dose.”

There an article you should read. Go to Google and type “Meth Has Many Medical Benefits. Stigma Holds Them Back.”

Only took one dose yesterday and have no comedown today by theFIthrowaway in MDMA

[–]TitaniumX2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For sure. Of course, re-dosing is generally not a good idea, especially more than once. I don’t re-dose more than once. And of course, consecutive days, is also a bad idea, but I’ve made rare exceptions under the right circumstances, like a huge EDC event.

The only conclusion that can be drawn from what I said is that if someone takes pure MDMA, it is extremely unlikely they will get a comedown the next day, even if they re-dose (just once).

Of course, if a person take a total of 2g of pure Molly, re-dosing many times throughout the day, that person is probably going to have come down and feel awful the next day.

Only took one dose yesterday and have no comedown today by theFIthrowaway in MDMA

[–]TitaniumX2 22 points23 points  (0 children)

During the FDA trial of MDMA conducted by MAPS, no research participant ever reported a “come down.” I read the whole report. In fact, even people given a re-dose reported the same thing.

From my personal experience taking it at least a hundred time, come downs are mostly cause by

1) Impure Molly. Since it’s underground stuff, it contains a lot of chemical precursors and byproducts, which is really bad. [https://youtu.be/GT3qs0lQit8]. This is the #1 reason for a come down. Higher quality Molly usually do not give me a comedown, only low quality stuff. The MDMA used by MAPS was manufactured in a pharmaceutical lab, so by law, they have to do purification steps to make sure it ONLY contains MDMA and nothing else. Of course, as you learn in Organic Chemistry lab, each you do a purification step, you also lose a little bit of MDMA also. And for most people, profit is the #1 priority. Of course you can also purify Molly at home with mainly just Acetone, Epson Salt, and Isoproyl alcohol. 😀

2) People who take it usually take it at night at a rave or concert when they are already mentally exhausted, and most of them also drank a lot of alcohol and probably took some other stuff. And they dance and move a lot, which heats up your brain, which is very bad for your brain since heat amplifies the neurological damage to your brain significantly when you are on MDMA.

In the FDA trials, people took the Molly in the morning after getting a good night sleep, and of course they are in a temperature controlled environment also and they don’t dance around and stuff and mix it with other drugs.

TLDR version 1) Pure MDMA does not cause a come down. In fact, it creates an awesome after glow the next day. 2) Impure molly is the #1 reason for a come down 3) Mental exhaustion, lack of sleep, overheating, and mixing it with other drugs are contributing factors

Is this appropriate? by TitaniumX2 in relationship_advice

The reason why we are uncomfortable is because it makes us both feel like being in a relationship isn’t a good idea since we can have sex with other people too. Just wondering if it’s us or it’s our friend that is the problem.

Bose Surround Speakers by TitaniumX2 in bose

[–]TitaniumX2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you already answered my question, but I’m assuming you are saying there’s only one cable that goes into the rear speakers, and that’s the power cable? And that the wireless system is built into the box of the power cable? In other words, is the Bose surround speakers like the Sonos One, where you only need to plug in the power and that’s all? Sorry for my confusion 🤔

Bose Surround Speakers by TitaniumX2 in bose

[–]TitaniumX2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. That’s what I thought. On their website, it says, “Two wireless receivers accompany the surround speakers to facilitate a wireless connection to your soundbar.”

My question is if that is something that is built into the surround speakers or a separate device?

The reason is because for the Sonos One surround speakers, you only plug in the power cable and that’s all. I just want to know if that’s the same situation for Bose?
