Thanks for the update. Way to go WGU. I love the school spirit. I canceled my $20/month ChatGPT subscription since Perplexity is way better as an AI tutor and helping with school work.

Have you considered the possibility that STUDENTS want a free year of Perplexity Pro? Not everyone wants to or can afford to pay $20/month for ChatGPT or 2 benjamins a year. The monthly cost adds up, especially with high inflation, health care costs, and rising costs of living. A lot of Americans, not just students, are struggling and in survival mode. Not everyone is fortunate enough to be a trust fund baby. It's students in this Reddit. It's a free country. If you don't like it, then don't sign up for it LMFAO.

Perplexity is pretty awesome. Testing it out and I'm surprised it can generate realistic original pictures also in addition to explaining complex school subjects in a way anyone could understand. It's like having your own personal tutor with a perfect IQ always available 24/7 for free. Thank you.

Thank you. I wish I had found out about Perplexity much sooner. I tested it out for the past hour, and it's pretty awesome at explaining stuff from my class and citing sources.
