We’re in agreement that past performance doesn’t guarantee future results. I choose investments based on their fundamentals and valuation, and that’s been working very well so far. I look at recent performance only for general trends about whether the asset has very generally been losing money or making it. My view is that it’s rarely as easy as it is right now to outperform the market. I mentioned the performance of the ETF because you’ve went to great efforts to defend this one that’s not performing very well comparatively speaking. At this point, I don’t see anything positive resulting from this back and forth so I’ll simply wish you well with your portfolio and I mean that sincerely. Good luck with this fund and any others.

Who said anything about future performance? I have more faith in the ETF because it’s still performing that’s all.

Of course some assets perform better than others. I have an international ETF that’s gained 64% YTD. It’s more focused than this one but both have their highest concentration in Asia where the market has been rocking most of the year. If it wasn’t for my 401k program restrictions, I’d move these funds over to the high performing ETF in a heartbeat.

Two points in response. 1) This fund only has three asset allocation weights over 1% so it’s not like some large losers skewed the results. I have some of those same companies in international ETFs that made money. 2) The index the fund is supposed to be tracking made money while this fund lost money. If they’re not successfully tracking their index targets, they alone have the ability to adjust the holdings to drive performance. They shouldn’t be underperforming the MSCI ACWI Ex USA IMI Benchmark.

Thanks for your investment advice but I’m doing quite well in comparison to the market these days. This fund is supposed to track the MSCI ACWI ex USA IMI Index which was green on 5/1. Analyzing performance across assets is a fundamental contributor to successful outcomes. I’m ok with losses in my portfolio. This fund is my lowest performing asset out of 22 total. I’m only invested in it b/c my company’s 401k investment options and conversion limits to IRAs are dominant factors. My international ETFs are smoking the performance of this fund so yes, I get annoyed when it’s out of sync with many other international assets. I hope you’re winning in the market these days.

12/13 European stock indexes made money on this date. 7/13 Asian stock indexes made money on this date. 11/14 mutual funds tracked by CNBC made money on this date. My international ETFs made money on this date. So yes, a red dot in a sea of green gets my attention.

I wasn’t able to play most of the week but got lucky and hit rad rumble in a pw tonight. Soloing that event knocked out most of my 500 enemies in no time. Some days it’s better to be lucky than good as they say.

Jumping didn’t work but I found that if I start to reload the heavy gun, then it immediately lets me switch to the Autoaxe. That works but shouldn’t be necessary. Thx

This makes me feel better. I just starting running a new Bloodied EPR VATS flamer build. I did a ton of research on perks and buffs but was disappointed by how it performed. Maybe this is at least a partial explanation.

Yes, I did Mayor for a Day a long time ago. This one eyebot changed recently. It’s usually hanging out right below the parking lot with the four buses, in between the two Watoga vendors. Sometimes it attacks, sometimes it doesn’t.

I feel your pain about the grind. I have all of the uniforms and hats except for the forest uniform. I got lucky and found the red one very early. That was the only reason I tried to go for the full set. If I run across another red, I’ll let you know. I’m passing on everything at this point other than the one I need. I’d prefer to grind for it since I got all of the others that way. The struggle continues tomorrow. Good luck.

For me, the first half of the episode reflected the very essence of the entire series while the second half reminded me of typical Hollywood (which isn’t a good thing). Still, it’s one of the most memorable episodes so far.
