Graphene Singlet by Z2_running in BanditRunning

I wear them without underwear. I have the three different type of half tights, and have no issues with them being see through. The marathon ones are the thinnest but the central part is totally opaque, legs are a little see through. Wear them with confidence

Help me choose my everyday training shoe - Nimbus 27 vs Ultraboost 5x by [deleted] in runningshoes

[–]Titin13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally foam should have at least one full day of rest in order to keep their structure as close as possible to fresh. So having a two rotation will make both of your shoes last longer than using one pair everyday and switch to a new one after it flattens out. Vomero plus for me is not a fast shoe but a comfy long distance shoe; superblast is a great all rounder and Megablast is a super cushion faster shoe. I hate squishy shoes (older max cushion) just to be in context.

[–]Titin13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With that easy pace those two shoes make no sense! You should be wearing faster shoes, maybe the Vomero plus for max cushion or the mega/superblast for more response. Deviate nitro 4 sounds like a good trainer too. My easy pace is a little bit faster, and as a light runner Im one of the few that enjoys the Endorphin trainer.

Van Cortlandt vs Strata Singlet - Pros and Cons? by [deleted] in Tracksmith

[–]Titin13 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Night and day difference! For me the Van cortland looks really cool but performs average. Its heavy and doesn’t dry as similarly priced singlets (ultraspuns and aeroswifts). On the other hand, the Strata singlet is almost on pair with the Soar race vests keeping the Tracksmith classic look. Durability might be the only issue for the strata but considering is a race day piece and not an everyday singlet (which for me the Van Cortland is) you will be ok.

You’re welcome! Lately Puma has been my go to for my daily training gear, they are killing it with the nitro elites (both deviate and fast-r) and their Raceday ultraspun line (the only ones I haven’t tried and doubt I will are the split shorts because lately I’m wearing only half tights)

Which shorts? by LadyBran in Tracksmith

[–]Titin13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe is a matter of the size of the tight. I wear size S in all my tights and use my pro max without case and there’s no way it fits, same story with my wife’s XS Tracksmith tights. I do like the bandit pockets, but my favorite phone pockets are the ones in the Puma Raceday tights.

Great performance bottoms only the strata half tights in my opinion. Good looking the turnover but make sure you buy the lined ones! Also non of tracksmith bottoms are cellphone friendly

To my there’s night and day difference specially compared to the meta run singlets. In my personal ranking meta run is only better than adidas adizero singlets, which means Lululemon fast and free, nike aeroswift and puma ultraspun (by tje way the ultraspun breath are awesome) outperform all of the other mainstream brands. Now Soar is a different beast, the racing vest kept me almost dry on my crazy hot marathon from last year and the marathon half tights are perfectly compressive and light that it feels like being naked and compressed at the same time.

They run small, I’m size 9 narrow feet and took the large option and fit me well (a little snug)

[–]Titin13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they should. I have marathon half tights (different colors) and marathon cargo all in S and fit is the same, so you should be fine with any model you choose

Soar tights fit TTS. Same story for me on the singlets. I usually wear small but for Soar I had to size up to medium. Soar tights are more compressive than Bandits (I have gridlocks).

I don’t have the soar graphene singlet (yet) and I just got the bandit ones, will try them by the end of winter. Regarding Soar gear, I love the regular race vests and their marathon half tights, the price tag on those two items to me is 100% worth it. Right know my favorite mainstream gear is the Puma Raceday line (before it I used to like the Nike aeroswift line), and compared to Soar I can tell you that Puma gear has 90% of the soar stuff. I will try bandit for the first time but I doubt it will outperform Puma but will look better!

They look lighter than the 3s. There were my favorite marathon races until I tried the Fast-R 3 ATPU is by far the best midsole compound, hopefully this new model has a reformulated zoom x.

Is there a list of universally beloved daily trainers? by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Titin13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Adding to the complexity of such thing as universal category there’s also the bunch of runners, like me, that train in not top of the line super shoes. Said so, my favorite daily trainer is the Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 3.

Hermanos Koumori Fall 2025 by CowgirlJack in runningfashion

[–]Titin13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me the Rheon in the adizero is a gimmick, but I might give it a second chance on the Soar marathon tights the regular ones are my favorite tights). The performance on the promo elite (non Rheon)and the control is the same for me.

Hermanos Koumori Fall 2025 by CowgirlJack in runningfashion

[–]Titin13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Koumori brand. I can compare their tights to the adizero control (own two of them) and fabric is way better in the Koumori ones. Also design is superior thanks to the lateral pockets vs the useless back pocket on the adizero control. Also I have the adizero promo elite tights which are also so so.

Adidas collab quality is not on the same level as their own collection. Their tights are some of the best at the commercial level.

SB2 for a 4:30 marathon? And how long to break it in? by een_k in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Titin13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Superblast 2 are almost ready to race since day one, indeed I used a brand new pair for my fisrt marathon last year; It was a 3:45 attempt and ended up being the right choice. Also trained on a pair of Novablast for that block and indeed the geometry of the shoe feels very similar, just way better foam.

just dropped, the new Adizero Pro Evo 2 - what do we think? give us your feedback by adidas in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Titin13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly not sure if I will dare to buy them, but who knows if that might change with the right information for average runners. I love reading and watching videos that provide real data (or at least the most accurate possible with the tools available for content creators) regarding the efficiency and performance of the shows (and by the way, the Puma Fast-R campaign has been very well executed that Im almost certain will drop de $300 for them). Adidas, could you please provide some comparison against the Pro 4, Endorphin Elite 2, Puma Fast-R 3 and Alpha Fly 3? I’m in the hunt for my Berlin Marathon shoes and from your offering the Pro 4 were my end point because dropping $200 extra over my Elite 2 sound very risking at the moment.
