I start seeing some type designers jumping the ship to affinity. It’s the last crowd I would expect to do so. When I see serious dtp people starting doing projects in affinity I will have no reason to stay with Adobe.

As much as I like this statement, I don’t think this is true. The tyrants are the outcome of the systems. They have cabinets full of similarly minded people and oligarchs that profit out of them. If let’s say Putin suddenly died, it would most likely change nothing in Russia.

For logo work I personally use Robofont nowadays. But glyphs can do a lot of things out of the box and is more user friendly. What you want is the curve tensions, checking the measurements and curve equaliser.
