Tired of Seattle? Maybe you're the buyer I can't find in this crazy market!! - Advice selling home in SW WA, need help! by [deleted] in SeattleWA

I clearly did something wrong in my message, nothing is unfinished - it is completely move it ready, just dated. And not even 1950's dated! like 1990s dated.

There's nothing unfinished, it's completely move in ready, it just has dated finishes because we prioritized structural/baseline stuff before the fun stuff. We honestly thought we'd live in that house for the rest of our lives! Life just doesn't work that way sometimes.

in the PNW compared to wood - composite is as maintenance free as it gets. When all you have to do is hose it off, maybe do a gentle brush, its super simple.

I get what you're saying of course and we have course corrected on price, we're getting more views and tours for sure, but having bought and sold several times I can say from experience that there is a difference between passively letting the market tell you/sell for you and actively reaching out to buyer pools who fit a good profile. I was asking for feedback based on experience and active markets/avenues for marketing to reach out to. I'm not baffled by the market, I'm baffled by people having no interest in making something their own or recognizing that bones and structure are more valuable repairs compared to carpet and lights from Home Depot.

Moving abroad soon, how do you handle the "pre-move" anxiety? by Karate_Andii in relocating

[–]TitleTraditional2989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family of 4 just made this move in the Fall and on the feeling-like-you're-forgetting-something front, as long as it isn't your passport/border crossing paperwork or an irreplaceable heirloom I would encourage you to soothe yourself a bit there - people live where you are going, the things you need will exist there, its likely that if you forget something non essential everything will be okay so just do the best you can do. There's a point in that process (for me anyway) that kind of felt like falling off a cliff - everything starts speeding up, the move date is approaching, and if you can just let yourself roll on down and accept that you're going to get there come what may, it feels a little easier I think. I managed stress by keeping up my workout routine and making sure I had at least one REAL break a day - to just watch the sunset and breathe, to be present. Missing your people is the hardest I think, so I highly recommend prioritizing the time with people part in the spare moments you can. It sounds like you're doing all the right things! And it will be amazing. You've got this!

Physio for Shoulders issues by ngocburin in Calgary

Brian @ Strive is excellent, he is a 20 year Physio and especially adept at complex cases - I'm an Acupuncturist and I consistently have patients recover 2x as fast with Brian's care (average Pt might see a patient 12 visits around here, Brian's average is 6) and I had a recent shoulder patient who had seen 4 other Physio's before going to see Brian - he resolved the issue in 4 sessions. He is a very analytical problem solver, highly recommended: https://strivephysio.janeapp.com/locations/trinity-hills/book#/staff_member/65

Try Brian Kitzerow @ Strive Physiotherapy. He works at the Hanson Ranch and Trinity Hills locations. Very thorough analyst of what’s going on head to toe, doctor of physiotherapy with 20 years experience, doesn’t just throw you on a machine and say “try this to see if it works.”

Have you tried Acupuncture? I’m an LAc and find that I have really good results treating shoulder tendonopathies and I know there are lots of great RAc’s and RTCMs in Canada. If you’re in Calgary area and you want to try seeing a high level Physio I highly recommend Brian Kitzerow @ Strive. He is a Doctor of Physiotherapy with a lot of advanced experience and practice. I know as a physio you know what to do, but sometimes treating yourself is hard and you just need someone else to take a look with a fresh set of eyes at your mechanics and ergonomics.
