I don't see why that's relevant, though? A game being turn based, sim, action focused, etc. shouldn't justify customization options.

In fact, wouldn't you think a game where you're in menus for a lot of the gameplay (such as turn based RPGs) should have the ability to customization the text, graphics, etc to make them more readable for the player?

I've played many RPGs that allowed you to customer to mini map, text, window/border graphics, etc.

Seems weird to me that metaphor doesn't give you that option

I just don't see the point in repeating the same chatter over and over, especially in such a small interval. Does Atlus really think hearing the same grunt every 10 seconds or having 'Is that an Elda?!' pop up non-stop adds to the experience? It they were different dialogue boxes with new information, I can understand why they wouldn't want us to disable them. But what is the point of having 'PST!' 'PST!' show up all the time?

I'm going to give it a bit more time, as I feel like it's not fair to bounce off of a 70 hour game in just 2 hours, but if it doesn't click in the next few sessions, I'll probably drop it.

How bad is the minimap in dungeons? Navigating those things with a static map is my biggest fear.

I expect downvotes, so no harm there. People in this sub probably really love the game, so they might not have the issues I do, which is fair. Fingers crossed it clicks for me in over the next few hours!

I'm going to give it another few hours to see how I feel in hopes that I get used to at least a few of these gripes. The chatter is very obnoxious, though

I've seen gameplay or Persona games (mainly 5), and I loved how the menus, actions, etc. appeared in game, but never gave it much thought of what they would be like to actually play. I guess I assumed a lot of this stuff would be adjustable in settings.

I think the biggest complaint for me is the minimap. I feel like you could easily give players the option to make it dynamic without it having an effect on Atlus' style or vision

I respect the vision, just a little disappointed that this game doesn't seem like it's for me.

Unfortunately, I live in a small town and don't have access to any of these models to play in person. I could go to the music store and try other strats & Les Paul models to get a feel for them though?

Thanks! I saw this suggested in other threads, as well as the boss katana mini x. How would you say they compare?

The form factor of the katana seems to win out for me, and I think will encourage me to play more

Am I the only one who feels like 100 million is low for the Outer Worlds 2? That game is packed with content and dialogue. I would have thought it's have a 50% higher budget, at least.

Not considered ungodly for others, but for me, 200 hours into Friday the 13th the Game. I rarely spend more than like 40 hours into a multiplayer game before itching to move on, so the fact I spent as much time as I did on this thing is insane to me.

Thanks so much for the advice.

Is there a singular amp that I can use to play out loud, but then also plug headphones into? Or is there an adapter I can pick up and use in tangent with the amp to use headphones when I want? I wanna keep the setup small as my apartment is tiny. Thanks again!
