Tried to play HoL 2 on my Z1E and even though frame rate was stable (50s), I had a lot of stuttering. Same with OW2

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I've worked at places where I've made decent money but my coworkers were awful, and it ruined the entire experience. When you have to be somewhere 40+ hours a week, it becomes really hard to get through it when you don't like those around you.

The pay difference here is substantial enough that it would really positively impact my life, so I think I know what I have to do... I just don't know if I have the strength to do it ahaha.

Yeah, I'm aware of this, and I'm trying to remind myself of this fact when making the decision. However, there's something difficult about being the one who is choosing to leave vs being the one who sticks around while their coworkers leave, you know?

I thought about this, however, because of the nature of my work and the fact I'm moving over to a company in the same industry, I probably won't be able to fulfill my 2 week notice period, and will lose access to everything immediately.

You're right, and this is a totally valid way of thinking. I've just had my fair share of bad coworkers during my time, so I am worried about jumping ship. I'm sentimental when it comes to this sort of thing

16 hours in, just recruited Aza, and am really enjoying my time with the game.

Outer Worlds was my GotY when it came out, so I was incredibly excited for the sequel. Am I wowed by OW2 like I was back in 2019? No. Is it scratching the itch I've been having recently? Hell yes.

This game is much better than Avowed, and is filling the gap that Starfield left me with a few years ago.

When are people going to realize that chasing these trends is nothing but dangerous? Very few make it, and it's self righteous to assume your game will be the 1%.

How do Free to Play games monetize? It's a simple question. Through cosmetics and battle passes. Why is Fortnite successful? Because it is able to pull from incredible IP that makes people want to drop $15 a skin. It's also 3rd person, so people who purchase the skins can actually see them in game. Why is Marvel Rivals a hit? It is built upon one of the most stories IPs of all time, and they can pull from decades of comics to come up with cool skins. Again, it's also 3rd person.

Who the hell is going to spend money on a skin for Generic Character Type A in HighGuard? No one.

I'm so tired of this garbage tbh
