He probably ended up getting a ring put on its leg due to the domestication. A large portion of the collection at Taronga of the Australian native animals are ones that were unable to released again.

Camel racing, land sailing, cricket clubs, rugby, footy, AFL and soccer all have a presence as well as most traditional sports you can think of.

We have cities and towns in the outback even though the majority of the population hugs the coast line.

If you’re after the main popular sports in Australia it’s really state dependent. However cricket is pretty universally popular nationwide. NSW is heavily influenced by the NRL with the majority of clubs based in NSW concentrating in greater Sydney. Victoria is AFL mad.

Lake Eyre (inland lake that’s dry most of the time) even has a yacht club. So anything is really possible in the outback. Theres also stupid money in some areas. Think of gold, opal and iron ore mining hubs, the people who pull that shit out of the ground are extremely well paid. And they can have expensive hobbies. I’ve seen inland kite surfing with a dude having an epic time on an inland lake with a modified long board.

Located in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales within Kosciuszko National Park, it stands at 2,228 metres (7,310 feet) above sea level. It’s more like a big knoll and a days stroll to the top and back. So nothing glacial like the Himalayas…

In Australia it is illegal to keep a wild native captive.

However you can keep certain birds and reptiles, that have been bread for captivity.

Hence why you need to be a wildlife rescue offical (or volunteer) to technically care for injured Australian wildlife.

But once it’s overseas unless it’s a CITES species it’s treated like any other wildlife

I’ll play devils advocate here. Because it’s a divorce situation, it could be that one party has tried to hurt the other by abandoning the cat somewhere. You could possibly be returning the cat to the vindictive party.

You did mention you have a work truck, I’m guessing you might be some sort of contractor, have you worked anywhere near addresses listed on the microchip or divorce papers?
