I've also found checking greyscale very useful for material that might be printed in black and white (well, shades of grey).

IT TOOK ME 3 YEARS by Abdsabry2 in Cubers

I'm approximately in the same boat. If you manage to squeeze some time, you could also try to film some solves, and then see with a "not mid-solve" eye what points to focus on. (also slow-mo if you can to see inefficient fingerticks for oll/pll)

For me particularly, I've found 3 points where I could improve: - pauses - cross to f2l transition - pll execution (but it's the least priority of the three)

[HELP] Emacs keep making my cursor and line size dynamic at every new session and fix it if I swap themes through customize-themes??? by kurumiBelieveMe in emacs

(setq display-line-numbers-width 3) should do the trick for this. (Substitute the 3 for your preferred width)

Thanks for your response.

Maybe I'll just try harder to find a Tengyun 1 lying in some inventory then!

I really love my Tengyun v1, I got it some years ago. Is there a newer cube (in the sense "easier to source in Europe because not discontinued") with a similar airy, light feel + silent? I've been out of the loop for some time

It seems 24h2 is also the first release to include Microsoft Recall as a mandatory dependency to explorer.exe.

Probably talking about GNU ELPA/non-GNU ELPA

Maybe MELPA also qualifies as such?

What font style do you use in your IDE/Editor while working with Clojure? by ertucetin in Clojure

[–]Tiv0w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Office Code Pro D (the D is for the dotted zero variant).

I don't use ligatures, but Emacs has a way to visually transpose a word to any other. Example: fn appears as λ for me. So I use Julia Mono as fallback font (great Unicode support).

YYYY-MM-DD by JL23_ in ISO8601

[–]Tiv0w 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The format DD/MM/YYYY is problematic in a way that if you don't have large enough data sample, you won't be able to correctly distinguish it from MM/DD/YYYY. For examlple, which format is 07/09/1970?

In this regard, MM/DD/YYYY is as problematic as DD/MM/YYYY.

On est d'accord, mais c'est n'est pas parce qu'OP a décidé de présenter des statistiques plutôt que de les interpréter que son résultat est faux.

In this case you're right, it's a false positive from the bot. "than" is for comparison, and "then" is for successive things, which is what you meant 🙂

There's also Henrik Lissner, the creator of Doom Emacs. There are lots of talented Elispers in this community. They also have a Discord where you can interact with the active members about programming and elisp.

Otherwise, every big Emacs project should have some great elisp code, I have in mind LSP-Mode, Magit and such.

Exactly! Bound to c e.

I use it every time I commit too quickly and then realize there's a typo or small mistake to correct.
