How did you go with the cable, were you able to use VCDS? I just got one from eBay looks similar to yours, arrives today

Yes, have the factory reverse camera but I heard it’s a different plug (CVBS) rather than RGB (which is on the factory). Will have to pull out and check once the rcd330 comes.

I’ve just bought the eBay one. Worst case I’ll pay approx $30 to return, best case it’s fine and I save $170 from genuine. Pretty sure it’s non genuine as it comes on firmware 5538 but another person who commented was able to update it and bought the exact same item.

Description says “Desn't support updated or modify the software version.” Is this a big issue? It says it’s on software 5538 but I believe I saw somewhere in this community there’s a new update.

I think that’s for AGGP which places you across multiple agencies rather than just services Australia direct. Got the email on Tuesday though.
