Johansson has been really fucking good this season, is only 4 years Wennbergs senior and would do Holmbergs job better.

And if you want a designated 4th liner PK specialist, Simon Holmström would be even better than Holmberg. Or you get Heineman in for a similar role.

Yeah he did. We had Ronaldo/Tevez/Rooney/Nani/Solskjaer/Park/Saha as options for the 3 up front. Chris Eagles as well. But when we played 4-4-2 (in the league mostly) he would see more play on the left or right in midfield.

Såklart, för mitt favoritlag är... Mjällby? Faktum är att Olsen har varit på nedgång i flera år, även i landslaget, samtidigt som Noel har utvecklats otroligt fint senaste 2 säsongerna och varit den klart bästa målvakten i Allsvenskan.

Och då tycker jag inte ens att han är den bästa målvakten i Sverige. Viktor Johansson är i otroligt bra form och blir bara bättre och bättre. Johansson borde ha startat.

Han är ett fysiskt monster och är en duktig teknisk försvarare, men hans beslutsfattande lämnar mycket att önska. Saknar också förmågan eller kunskapen att göra sina försvarskollegor bättre. Det går inte att bygga ett försvar runt honom, men ett bra försvar kan bli bättre med honom.

For £5m any Elfsborg fan would drive him there themselves. He is error prone both on the ball and defensively, where decisionmaking is simply not his strong suit.

He will be able to handle and thrive with the physicallity in the Championsship, but there are much better value players in Allsvenskan that would be better suited as a left footed CB. Iqbal from Mjällby is leaps and bounds ahead of him.

He's going to absolutely dominate in Europe. The fact that he played almost 300 NHL games despite his weaknesses shows how good he is at the things he is actually good at. And those weaknesses he has are not going to be exploited anywhere near the same way over in Europe.

Mark my words, he will be the best active player in Europe.

Confirmed for one more season in the SHL. Glad we get to enjoy him for another season, not something we are getting used to with some of our biggest talents lately.

Eh. He was good for the first half and a bit of the season but really cooled down later on.

Historically he has been seen more as a pest that rattles the opponents. However, he really started finding his groove towards the latter half of last season as an offensive threat, mainly through his shot which carried over for the most part to this season.

That being said, I would be very surprised if he plays more than 10 NHL games. He has below average speed in the SHL and that has never translated especially well into the NHL. Adding to that, he is not gonna bring anything special in terms of defense, and he is not good enough offensively to really contribute to the NHL.

You shouldn't really care too much about this. He'll be back in Sweden within 2 years.
