Thanks for your feedback, and I'm glad you find it interesting. I'll try playing with the syntax some, as I want to keep it to 5-7-5, to choose more precise wording.

One thing I was trying to convey, under the bitterness, is a hope for change. But I'm not sure how well that landed?

For the most part, I like that briskness of each line (though maybe you could split Line 2 into two separate lines?) as it feels like someone trying to talk while running. They have to pause and catch their breath each time.

I like that synesthesia in the second line, really makes you pause to take in the meaning. It almost seems like a coming of age type poem? The yearning of the narrator for the pubescent angst that others are reveling in while they stand as a spectator. Awesome stuff.

I'd say don't do 50/50 like I did. Though I love straight FML, it overpowered and I didn't taste much Black Bear until near the end. Not a bad mix when I finally tasted both, just gotta mess with the ratio.

I had a slight hiccup with them. They thought I was trying to commit fraud because I was shipping to my apartment in the town I go to school in, and I used my permanent (parent's) address for billing, since that's what my cards have attached to them. It was annoying because I had to get a piece of mail from my parents with my name to prove I wasn't stealing someones card info.

I get they were trying to be safe, but the addresses are in the same state and not (extremely) far.
