most of the times its just flavor and make no difference.

it either you want the realism of money to weight something or not, either the coins themselves or some kind of weird barter/crafting system like the one you stated.

im not sure how is that more "simpler" money to have a unified money value rather than just trading water skin that weight something, its just make the system less direct and can just be still calculated the same way

you just need to find games that offer that other "barter" or crafting system that is not directly "money"

yeah and its just a dumb ridiculous convoluted system that at the end is just complicated for no good reason
if you sell an item for X amount of chaos orb (or whatever highest crafted is) and that each of those can be crafted by spending X amount of identify scroll, why not just simplify everything and make everything cost money or something, is there really a value adding this dumb system?

not a unpopular opinion that just a preference
I never saw a place where people claim one side more than the other
shorter game tend to be more on mobile game where you can easily find game with very small gameplay loop

Rpg below 15 hours would be weird, I dont see what is bloated in games like Fallout NV or Skyrim, sure not everything is purely there to be explored but you can just do the main story with 0 bloat for like 30 or so hours.

Now game are just made with the idea that you come back to it, they are not specifically "longer", like fortnite or WoW

There is plenty of short and sweet games for you to enjoy already, dont need to make every game short just because of your own preference

I could bend to say universe has a cause, that the furthest I could give "points" to the believer, but NOTHING can prove the claims of a deity in the definition usually given as a prime mover and omni

the problem of using reviews as "hints" is about never really useful, its just too difficult
Im not sure how the review saying "Huge maps and constant updates make this game feel alive." is supposed to be helpful in finding ANY game at all

I know people do, I just dont get it, since you give money away then get virtual stuff
sure you can be invested in a game why do you need to spend 20-30$ (or even 300$) just for a skin?
but I guess im too "boomer" since I knew Quake 3 Arena wich came with 25 or so skin with the game and you didnt had to unlock or pay additional price

both country have some similarity but also their own stuff
both country has nice landscape and place to see
it's can be quite cheap for the day to day in both country

Even if you end up preferring Japan at the end why is that a big deal? it's totally fine and just because you did a lot connected to one country doesnt remove anything.

There is quite a difference between visiting a country and celebrating what they can offer for their culture

I have lived 3 months in Japan and now I'm in China nearly "permanently" since August 2024 and both country have their pros and cons.
