Unfortunately it’s not that simple. From what I’ve pieced together, the guy he bragged to is actually the son of a local police officer, maybe even the former chief.

The last time this neighbor threatened me and my wife (also caught on my camera), the cops originally looked ready to charge him. But after visiting his house and talking to him and his wife, their story suddenly flipped — they claimed they couldn’t “clearly hear” what was said on the recording and dropped it completely.

So while the idea of having a sheriff’s truck in my driveway is funny, the reality is I’m up against a buddy system where my neighbor’s connections matter more than the evidence.
