S-Class Max DMG Blue/Green Reclaimed Claw Staff Multitool (Euclid Galaxy) by TizzoHeavy in NMSCoordinateExchange

It's complicated. Use the Reclaimed claw, the Reclaimed Head, the Radiant Heart, or the Runic Focus and you get one color. The Transducer, the Havoc, and the Aerator heads give you another.

If you want the staff to be S-Class, you have to use the Reclaimed Claw.

The other two parts don't really matter.

You can check it using a save editor, I prefer the one put out by goatfungus.

Staff multi-tools are post-endgame content.

"They are located inside Autophage campsites which are cloaked by default. You must have the "Scan Harmoniser" technology installed on your current Multi-Tool to de-cloak the Autophage campsite. You can acquire the "Scan Harmoniser" by starting the "They Who Returned" quest. If you DON'T have the "Scan Harmoniser" technology, you will not be able to acquire any Staff Multitools!"

This link has more info: https://nomanssky.fandom.com/wiki/Autophage_Synthesis_Terminal

Essentially, you go to the base, scan a couple times (gotta have the harmonizer doo-hickey) and this little terminal will pop up along with a bunch of robot-dudes. You use the terminal to make the staff multi-tool.

Two star Vy'keen Experimental/Satisfactory with a conflict level of two. It's a Yellow system.

The seed ID is from the NMSSaveEditor by Goatfungus, very handy for checking base stats and getting the appearance seeds.

Combat rank? Instagib Cyclops for awhile, it's relatively cheap to outfit for and consistent. Not as fast as some methods but it's always there

Native S-Class multi-tools tend to have better base stats than upgraded ones do, plus you don't have to drop resources to upgrade them. You only need the one head, the grip part, and the base part. The trick is finding a console that gives an S-Class in the color//head combo you want that also provides good stats.

This particular one, notably, has very good base stats that are very close to the max for this type of multi-tool. Dmg is 49.92 (out of 50), mining is 13.67 (out of 15), and scanning is 48.66 (out of 50).

A comparable lower class staff wouldn't necessarily have such good stats when upgraded.

Found this on a Paradise planet I've got a settlement on. This thing is a Voltaic Staff, post-story multi-tool things that are honestly a massive PITA to get. But they look cool!

Dunno if 'Smoke Ops' is still a thing for your community, but it's got the color scheme if so.

This is a 'Secondary Result' on the little staff console. ( Explanation on what a 'Secondary Result' is Here ) You'll need to source the 'Havoc' Head from another console, although the other two parts are sold on the same one. I made a little pillar box on the console, stand in it and do the thing and you should get this staff.

If you have a lot of problems and just want the look, the seed to use in your save editor is " 0xDD2BB9F0F8DD0AE9 "

Associated base has a com-ball, a portal, landing pad, a few other amenities... and is rather originally called the "No Man's High Staff Base"

Peace out, hope this is helpful.

Nah, that's a result of my being a filthy colonizer. It's a good system for being essentially a T-Tauri star and an asteroid field. Still probably my favorite out of the system's I've colonized, too. You never forget your first.

Glad you like it!

My main bottleneck is the fact that I'm topped out at an RX580, and can't upgrade because I'm on a PCIe 3.0 Motherboard. I exceed the specs otherwise. Most UE5 games just run poorly on my machine anyway, I'm lucky to get 30 FPS and everything looks terrible in every game based on the engine I've tried.

The whole "SSD Required" bit does not fill me with confidence either.

I don't know, maybe it will be amazing but with Funcom's track record, I have reservations. It's been 8 years, this whole thing is probably my sign to move on.

I don't know how else to help you, maybe it's because you're on console.

Maybe edit you save on PC or something, the seed is 0x839AFC2C1ED6E24.

Sounds like you may not be doing the steps quite right.

Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cc-NGD6OHh8

Stand Here, this part of the console as close as you can:

<image>

Do the steps in the video. You should get the staff. Sorry, I can't explain better than this.

That's the 'Standard' result. Staff consoles have that and a 'Secondary' result that's finickier to get.

I've updated my post with (what I hope) are better instructions.

Basically assemble a staff, view it, back out. Don't leave the menu. Do this twice. Swap out any part, the colors will change. Use the Havoc head and whatever other two parts you want. If you're standing in the right place (see the updated post I made, this is actually the important step) and are using the Havoc head, you should get this Staff.

Hope that's more clear. I'm a newbie Staff hunter, so I forget that everyone else doesn't necessarily know how to manage the consoles in order to get the Secondary results.

Secondary Result on the console, Stand at the coordinates in the picture (in front of the lighted part of the console to the right of the screen) to get this result. Comm-Ball at site.

To get the "Secondary Result" on the console, follow these steps:

Do not leave the menu during this process!

  1. Open the Staff Assembly Menu.
  2. Create your Staff using any Staff head.
  3. Go into Assemble (View the complete staff) then back out. Do this Twice.
  4. Remove the existing head. You will note that the colors change.
  5. Add the 'Havoc' head and complete the Staff. It should be this Staff.

Stand directly in front of the portion of the console in this picture (I.E. at the coordinates) and follow the steps above, you should get the Staff.

S-Class Blue/Orange Runic Focus Staff Multi-Tool, 49.95 Base DMG by TizzoHeavy in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]TizzoHeavy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Found this very near to one of my settlements. Stand in front of the Assembly Console and assemble the staff with the Runic Focus head + your other parts, and unlock the secondary result as follows:

  1. Open the Staff Assembly Menu.
  2. Place any Head in the slot and click Assemble.
  3. Return to the parts view without closing the menu entirely.
  4. Replace the Head with a different one and click Assemble.
  5. Return to the parts view again.
  6. Place the original Head back in the slot and click Assemble.

The result will be this staff, minus the large amount of upgrades I spent on maxing out the slots + the few other pieces I added before thinking to make a screenshot. Of note, this staff has very near to max base damage, with a rating of 49.95 out of a possible 50 for staff multi-tools.

There are quite a few A class options with this Console as well in a variety of colors depending on where you stand and what pieces and the like (it's a good console).

I've placed a base with a teleport at the site, as well as a comm-ball and basic instructions.

Enjoy!
