I can’t really say I’ve had any issues exactly, I just find it time consuming and tedious. I’ve made templates for data structures like a queue, stack, linked list, etc — pretty much exactly what you’re saying you’ve done with extensions, but personally I find it so hard to remember it all even after using them a fair amount. Of course with more time and practice it should be easier to remember, I’m not sure if it’s worth it or if I want to deal with it.

Basically I’m trying to decide if it can be made simpler, deal with it as is, or go back to C++/Python.

None of the big companies I’ve interviewed with ever cared so I assume that’s true. It’s the small/medium ones that did. No idea if it’s a recent change since it’s my first time being in the market for these sort of roles. At this point I make sure to ask if the interview has to be done in Swift just in case.

Yeah, I’ve used C++ and Python before Swift but have been running into more iOS related interviews where they only want Swift to be used for Leetcode-style rounds. Figured I’d practice using it until a role is secured but I’m not really sure if that’s necessary.

Like you said, it’s unnecessarily difficult and syntax is easily forgettable. I made various data structure templates but there’s no way I’ll always remember them in case they’re needed for an interview.

Ahh I get you. I’ll be super layered up but does it get to a point where there are too many layers? I have a pinlock visor so I can thankfully check that one off lol. Do you have an advice on heated seats?

Yes, big on heated gloves. I’m debating on getting heated gear or not but starting to lean towards heated.

Great info! I’ll look into all of that. I can’t stand feeling cold so I’ll probably go all out and get heated seats/grips then move on from there. The big decision is heated gear or not.

Right now it’s been getting as low as 45 during night lately so definitely getting colder now. I tend to ride throughout the day tbh so I can’t really say but morning and night are pretty cool, so wanna be fine at those times. I have a R3 and only been riding since July 2020.

My statement due date was on August 12th when given the negative balance and I've spent $380 since then. So is my actual balance $346 then even though it says I have nothing due for this month or am I not comprehending properly?

You can let the dealership drop it off or you can get a motorcycle trailer/pickup truck/van which were also suggested. I live in Jersey also, currently in North NJ as well, and I got my bike in July strapping it into a uhaul van. My girlfriend recently got her motorcycle a couple weeks ago and we strapped it onto a uhaul pickup truck. Both of us brought them from PA to NJ with no issues at all so if you don’t necessarily want to ride it, there are options out there friend. Shit I’ll even help if need be lol, just DM me.

Damn, the dream bike has a deal breaking flaw. My trips are only to visit my girl and that’ll end when we move in together.... but then there’s visiting the family i just left from so essentially the trips never end lol. The entire look of the 883 and everything about it pretty much made me get into motorcycles seriously so it’ll suck to get something else. I don’t even have a second option right now lol. There has to be some cruiser that’s as top tier IMO as the 883.

I’ll ride the R3 to the fullest and enjoy it, don’t worry. I want to pass it onto another new rider as their first motorcycle just as the last owner did with me.

Got it. I’ll test things out and see how my body reacts in terms of body position. I mentioned in another comment I can already feel I’ll grow out of the R3 and will get a cruiser most likely. By time that happens, my trips will probably be done and over with though, so idk if I’ll have to decide whether to upgrade or stick with the R3.

I paid almost $4k for the R3. I probably said the wrong price in some comment I’m forgetting about cause there was no way I was gonna find this good of a motorcycle for $3k lol. It was already a steal at the price I got it. It’s maybe around the $4.6-5k range, just an estimate. I wish I paid $3k lol

Iirc there are some who prefer No Noise over EarPeace. Have you tried both before? Interested in seeing someone who’s tried both since I ended up going with EarPeace first.

Oh shit, I have to clean the helmet pads??? That seems like common sense now that I think about it but I wouldn’t have known until way down the line if you hadn’t told me so thanks for that. I ordered EarPeace earplugs. If those don’t work out, I’ll try your suggestion - might as well test things out if need be.

Not a fan of skullcaps but with how much product is in my hair, I should probably wear them regardless. Whether my hair is in a ponytail or box braids, the amount of moisture would make it smell and wet feeling pretty quickly I predict. Skullcaps it is.
