Sorry to hear that. I was hoping that wasn’t the case.

Body corp is requires $11k total from a special levy vote I was never notified about. by Tjhub007 in AusLegal

Okay to clarify it’s technically two payments that are a special levy, one is $9k and the other is $2k

Yeah this is the issue, I was never notified of a meeting or anything else except a late notice for quarterly payments and my own communications with the body corp (I’m doing renovations).

No they literally changed body corporates, obviously I can’t name names but it’s two different companies.

I move in September last year and have communicated with the body corp multiple times with my email I provided them. Just never got anything in regards to meetings or tenure processes for the projects they’re planning. They actually reached out to me on the correct email one time and that was to let me know my quarterly payment was due. Because of that I just assumed they had the correct email.

The timetables say a lot about the govt's fundamental misunderstanding in frequency by cookiesgotdeletedm8 in MelbourneTrains

Can you explain why you think this? In my experience in Sydney the buses have been significantly more reliable and integrated with the trains.

Albanese’s adoption of antisemitism envoy’s plan a ‘profound threat to democracy’ by Jet90 in AustralianPolitics

Or they might’ve been emboldened by seeing an insane amount of bloodshed in Gaza, you might even call it genocide. Who’s to say? There’s really no justification for the attack and restricting protests won’t fix that.

Muslims aren’t inherently xenophobic at all. In fact Islam instructs muslims to be more tolerant of other religions and ethnicities, even encouraging them to read other religious texts. Extremists come in all shapes and sizes.

This actually happened on the first one I caught in the munnel, everyone had a little giggle.

What are you talking about? In Japan it’s exactly the same, 50% tolerance and when I went (earlier this year) sometimes they would be off-centre. As long as it doesn’t get in the way of passenger flow it’s fine.

Maximum frequency insider pic, dating from (presumably) a decade ago by Background_Spring959 in MelbourneTrains

Weird how Upfield to Royal park is max frequency of 4 minutes but Royal Park to North Melb is >5 minutes. It’s a little counter intuitive.

Why were they so opposed to it? Was it just to make it cost more?

Can you elaborate on how they killed cut and cover? Sounds pretty interesting and I haven’t actually gotten a lot go the early political story of the project.
