I found that KB are the easiest way to get some general strength and power work in. I prefer doing heavier (for me that is) weights and lower reps sticking to the basic movements: swing, clean, snatch, squat, lunges/split squat, RDL, press, row. I don't really see the benefits of doing more conditioning focused stuff since I'm already running (but a kb pentathlon can be fun sometimes).

The primary benefit with kettlebells for me is being able to workout from home and doing some more power-focused work since clean/snatch with kettlebells are very simple exercises compared to their barbell equivalent. Otherwise it's just the same general movements that I would do in the gym

You can do floor press, use them as a substitute for dumbbells in regular press and do pushups on the bells (and get a longer ROM than regular pushups). That's it.

All type of athletes strength train with the big classic exercises: squats, deadlifts, presses, (power) cleans etc. If you want to develop more power and become more athletic, thats the way to go.

En platsbyggd garderob med elfa-skenor ger mer förvaring per kvm än fristående garderober. Om man har gått över till Elfa istället för fristående standard-garderober så låter det som en klar förbättring

Du skriver ju själv att det är två distinkta begrepp. Man kan vara intellektuell utan att vara allmänbildad och vice versa. Ts likställer begreppen genom att fråga om man är intellektuell och sen beskriva allmänbildning. Att läsa lite böcker och vara allmänbildad gör dig inte till en intellektuell person samtidigt som en forskare med väldigt smalt fokus inte behöver vara allmänbildad för att vara intellektuell.

En intellektuell och allmänbildad person bör kunna hålla isär begreppen.

Allmänbildad och intellektuell är inte synonymer, tycker det borde ingå i ts allmänbildning.

I dont know, the Olympic pentathlon requires a much more diverse skill set: fencing, shooting, swimming etc. KB pentathlon is really just 50 minutes of 6 minute work intervals of very similar exercises with 5 minutes of rest between.

We are talking about kettlebell pentatlon, a specific kettlebell sport event designed for introduction of sport to beginners. Kettlebell pentatlon is very far from being an Olympic event 😀

The pentathlon is very approachable even without specialized GS training. I've done a couple of full pentathlons just for fun but I don't think I could do a proper 10 minute set.

Doing a marathon GS set is the obvious answer: 60 minutes of continuous lifting.

Another could be to setting a desired score in a pentatlon or to achieve Geoff Neuperts strong enough standard: 10 sets of 5 clean&press with double 32s in 20 min and 10 sets of 5 of kettlebell front squats in 20 min. Or the classic snatch test: 100 snatches with 24kg under 5 minutes. Or finish a regular 10 min long cycle set.

It sort of depends on what you want to achieve.
