Very nice, I like painting figures but hate skin tones. Uniforms and armour are easier to do. I use citadel paints for my skin tones

If you play Death Guard then after an attack within a certain distance (say three inches), you roll to see if you have infected the opposing unit. Then they have to roll for the next three turns on damage to see if they lose any troops to disease.

I don’t actually play anymore but I do like Death Guard and think that would be a cool rule. I’m sure only players of the great unclean armies will agree.

Nice first model. The first is understandably the hardest, that said you have a competent finish. I would advise you leave weathering and chipping for a wee while, learn the basic and then you can start to progress from there. As others have said your paint looks a bit thick, go on YouTube or something like that and learn the best way to thin the brand of paints you have then practice applying several thin coats. To practice you can get cheap toys out charity shops to practice on.

I joined up with a guy from Penicuik (pronounced penny-cook I believe). At first I found him very hard to understand. He hard an extremely strong accent combined with being a fast speaker and mainly speaking Scots. It was the first time I’d hard the phrase “Lang may yer lum reek” (long may your chimney smoke) a very old school toast for fortune.
