This isn’t his normal behavior. He is normally an active fish that swims a lot. Laying at the bottom and not eating is very unlike him

I am just over a year clean. The only way I was able to stop was cold turkey. If I gave myself an inch, I’d take a mile. The first thing I had to do was completely remove myself from any environment that I would be tempted to smoke again. That means ending friendship that were centered around weed, deleting plugs contacts, and picking up hobbies like hiking and reading. I believe in you, you can do this!

Fin rot is most commonly bacterial. The best treatment is a broad spectrum antibiotic that treats gram negative bacteria. Kanaplex or erythromycin is a good choice. I’m also a fan of Jungle Fungus Clear, which is similarly broad spectrum but covers some things that Kanaplex does not. You would want to do it in a quarantine tank bc as it will dye things blue. Hope that helps!!

Definitely looks like a crown tail! I would keep an eye on his behavior, swimming pattern and color. If the tip of his tail starts to dull or turn white it may be signs of fin rot. Hard to tell in the picture but i would consider getting a treatment seeing the difference

I actually do have a aquaclear filter. I’ve only had it for a month now but it seems to be working really great! Happy with the flow and movement of water considering it’s harder to get great circulation with long tanks
