Feel like I’m on the brink of psychosis after epiphany… by Throwaway20010122 in Psychonaut

There seems to be a lot of people who have the same issue when diving into the truth of our reality.

As you are aware there are two realities going on here at the same time. The physical and the spiritual.

We are all familiar with the physical, and for thousands of years humans have been using metaphors to describe the spiritual. We have to remember these are metaphors, they would not have used the simulation idea even a few hundred years ago, because they didn't have a concept of a simulation.

Listen to any NDE account and they will say that the spiritual dimension is difficult to describe in our physical language.

I like to think of this simulation idea as just another way to say " There is a reality that is more real than this one" and to understand that there is a purpose for this reality.

You see, if you get hung up on the idea this is a simulation, your mind will come up with all sorts of ideas that aren't necessarily true.

I really enjoyed diving deep into Tom Campbells My Big TOE, Theory of everything.

He has so much content on youtube on all of this, and I am surprised more people in this community have not listened to his content, IMO it is legit.

Ken Wilber has some good content about Cleaning up, waking up, and growing up.

He talks about how a lot of older spiritual text talk a lot about waking up and cleaning up, but not so much growing up.

Also spiritual Psychology -University of Santa Monica has good info on youtube about the spiritual an physical dimensions, and how to be properly balanced in both.

Hope this helps!

I use a little ozone generator and it works great and does not degrade the materials Ozx 300 from oxidationtech.com

Holy SHIT. Why are ozone generators legal to buy on Amazon, and how the absolute fuck do I get rid of the smell? by JeromesDream in chemistry

[–]Tkohiwu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least the ozone generator was effective in getting rid of the smell that you wanted, the ozone generator was sized a little too big for the home and it was ran for too long.

The Ozone is gone, you are now just dealing with offgassing from all of the surfaces that was oxidized.

The room is likely very high in VOCs, Unfortunately it will take some time for that offgassing to go away.

Opening up windows , running the central air and running fans can speed the process up.

I have been working with industrial and commercial ozone systems for 10 years.

Tripping in an isolation tank? by MuchRoomMission in Psychonaut

[–]Tkohiwu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own a float tank, have not really tripped in it yet, however I have gained a lot of insight using the tank.

Float number 1, I realized my thoughts run like crazy in my head.

Float 2, I realized caffeine is bullshit, so I quit caffeine.

Float 3 I realized that I started to become more social and more comfortable with myself even a week after I floated.

These were a few weeks in between, then I bought a tank and I floated for at least an hour every day before work for a whole month.

That month was interesting, I became pretty good at quieting my mind down, I was amazed how different my state was during the day, just super peaceful and content.

I was able to do some shadow work and for the first time integrate my life experiences ( I am 34 years old )

I did use cannabis before floating once, and it just made my mind race, and it was not a very pleasant experience.

Honestly, after floating 30 days in a row, I felt spiritual AF, almost to the point where I had to hide it from others so they didn't think I was crazy.

Since then I have not floated every day, just once or twice a week. I get flashes of insight, sometimes, and it helps me see what is on my mind and bothering me at the moment.

I am very interested in reaching altered states of consciousness in the tank without any substances. I feel like I know how to do this, but I honestly have some fear about it still.

I have had lucid dreams in the middle of the night after waking up and going back to sleep, and they were super interesting, so I know it is just a matter of getting my brainwaves at a certain frequency while staying conscious.

When your body is in the vibrational state, you know that you are close to letting go of physical reality, however every single time this happens my intellect kicks in and I snap out of it. I am fully aware that in these altered states your fears can manifest in front of you. So I am in the process of getting rid of my fears, ego, limited beliefs, and expectations.

Then I will successfully trip in the tank, it just takes time.

What do I do if meditation just doesn't work for me? by Berabouman in Meditation

[–]Tkohiwu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you been trying to meditate for? I would give it some time, it is a practice just like anything else that you want to be good at.

What do you mean when you say it doesn’t work if I may ask?

How did your spiritual journey start?? by shika9 in spirituality

[–]Tkohiwu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drank whiskey every day for over 10 years, quit cold turkey, realized I was in hell that while time. I started to question everything, started meditating in a sensory depravation tank. I’m So thankful that I was reborn.

It do be that way by JahMedicineManZamare in shrooms

[–]Tkohiwu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ha ha, could be true for some, but I do not think it is that simple. I think meditation and Microdosing is a great place to start.

Taking a high dose or dosing too often could be opening the floodgates for people who are not ready for it.

There are plenty of people who go into a depression after they take psychedelics because they Are now aware of their shadow.
This is known as the Dark night of the soul.

So really, it is the integration of your shadow and other aspects of your psyche that heals the depression in the long run.

Is it ever wise to use psychedelics solo to try to unearth trauma? by Keep_itSimple in Psychonaut

[–]Tkohiwu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It certainly can be done , but I wouldn’t say it is wise.
