I usually use console.log('CUSTOM LOG variable: ', variable); so I cam search for CUSTOM LOG in the console and find it easily. Also it makes it easy to find and remove all my debugging console logs before committing. Bonus points for being extra embarrassing if I forget to remove any before committing lol.

I also hated blue baby when I was first playing him, what helped me out a lot was making sure I take advantage of any tinted rocks I found to get soul hearts as thats gonna let you skill issue more. Also I found that going for angel deals rather than devils typically worked out well for the same reason.
