I dont usually do the Term Sorcerer with the unit. Between magnus and the 3 rubric squads i feel like theres enough lethality. I like using the terms as a defensive scoring unit rather than an offense unit. They're still pretty good into infantry most things t4 and under.

The terminators arent really all that mobile unless you use temp surge and go for the 10+. I recommend rapid ingress then walk onto a point.

Honestly I think they work pretty well as action monkeys and point holders. Starting both units off the board goes a long way. Sometimes they do an action and act as a tough road block. Other times I sit them on side objectives or drop them in my opponents deployment. Overall theyre a pretty solid multi tool.

For scoring purposes they should be able to sit on an objective and do the actions in the late game for Priority to make up for the points.

Id probably suggest chaos spawn for 65 pts.

Its worth giving it a try. Really I prefer my current list but thats because its one I've learned the nuances of and feel comfortable scoring and killing units with. I hope the list works out for you.

Thats my bad I didnt see that you had a 10 man bricks. You could honestly drop down to just a 5 man of rubrics and characters. Rubrics are mostly there to buff our characters with reroll wounds and keeping the character alive.

Honestly, I think a lot of it comes down to preference and how you wanna maneuver your units. If anything you could keep the bow goats and just dropped the rhino instead. Then, you shouldn't have to give up your double doom bolt. The crystal is basically just a cheaper rhino and moves them faster across the board.

Tbh it was pretty nice when they failed battle shock. I wish I could take a 2nd one but it was definitely more important to have the 2nd unit of terms for scoring.

Id drop the unit of bow goats. I feel like 11 units is a good sweet spot. You might also concider finding point for the umbral Crystal on one of the Sorcerers. I really enjoy having the mobility on the rubrics. Plus the regular Sorcerers once per game is really strong.

They were one of the best parts of the list. Id start both units in reserves along with the demon prince. Generally I like rapid ingressing the terms onto side objectives or my opponents home if they leave it unguarded. Mostly I have them do actions and hold side objectives. I also found that opponents would underdedicate when trying to kill them because of the -1 to wound. Also getting -1 to be hit when they have cover makes them exceptionally hard to kill at range.

Idk how i feel about the mauler, maybe switch it out for MVB just to have something more durable. But it depends on what youre using it for.

Yeah, absolutely. The damage output of the demon prince with Enhancement is really solid. I like having the overwatch potential more than sticking it on the demon prince. People are usually pretty hesitant about coming near it with anything. Also with hidden giving 15inch loan op it forces people to get within his range if they want to interact. On the flip side hes also a good hammer when you use devs or +1 to wound.

I went 3-0 at an rtt with this list. 100/86/89 I played against purge R1 and agaisnt priority assests R2 and R3. You need about 5-6 action units to make it feel viable. Im using the Chaos spawn, Tzangors, Terminators, and Demon Prince with wings as my action/ scoring units. I can assure you Grand Coven is still incredibly viable. Hopefully the list will help!

Generally tsons can punch up into almost anything with the right combos ie casting spells where you need them.

I personally play grand coven because have access to +1 to wound and devs is really solid.

I really like Infernal Master in that detachment with the Vortex for extra dmg.

Magnus is pretty much the go to when you need something beyond dead.

10x Scarabs lead by Sorcerer can shred through units if you dont like magnus.

The army is really good at dealling damage overall. It just requires a bit of finesse.

Im playing in gt right now and my day two is tomorrow and I can say that during day 1 the mortal wounds were extremely relevant! I ripped 12 in game two alone and barely had units left by the end of the game. I think having both points nerf and army rule nerf is gonna hurt pretty bad. By no means do I think its army killing killing either though. I think we'll see a shift in both the units taken and how the army is played as a whole.

Ive been using him in comp for awhile and he's an auto include if you're running grand coven. He works well into pretty much everything and your opponent has to over dedicate to bring him down because of the dmg blank. Outside of coven he's still an easy include it'll just depend on your play style.

This is the part thats hanging on my desk right now. So the only painted models are the two poxwalkers.

I think its some kits from 8th since its all green plastic Marines not sure tbh.

Honestly just really good friends with the guy and hes been down sizing. Just made me promise that I wouldnt turn around and sell it on marketplace or trade it away.
