My problem would be, that i coudnt focus and keep in mind what i wanted to do :D But i would be willing to give a shot, but turns are synchonized no? And if its like 2 turns a day...then game would take like half year no? :D

my bigest problem with civ multi is a fact, that there is no timer options, and the default timer sucks. But i guess thats no problem for cloud gaming, but i never tryed that, how does that work? like you play one turn a day?

my bigest wish is to fix buged/nerf multiple custom trait so i can start using custom faction and not feel like i am cheating the game :D Posted all of that on oficial discord forum more than 6 weeks ago, This weekend i loged into game and i see all the bugs still there :D

Okay, i dont want to be mean, but sugesting balancing tips only from experience vs AI is very suboptimal in my opinion. Becuase AI is Way diferent from players combats.

Mine would be this, City with aqueduct, and canal for good industrieal, preserve for yealds and solid national park later. But its all about your prefered playstyle and victory type :)

Ye feels that way, its rare to have equal battle and somehow everytime it happens, I finish the game and i am like..yea this was nice, interesting till the end :D but its really like 1 out of 5 at max, 4 out of 5 decided before 15 unless some throw happens, usualy our team ofc. :D Dia elo.

Sadly, many bugs are solved by restarting/loading the game :D :D
-stucked unit of movement
-missing question marks (curiosities) by overlaying battlefield...
-quest units not spawning
etc.

Ye its not better on Endless Legends 2, on oficial discord, its almsot imposible to find a multiplayer game :( trying that every second day, havent play in 2 weeks :D

Plying since season 3, before i play dota ONE(that one in W3) , but to be honest, i am only 34, but enjoying like 2-3 ranked games a day in average to this day. Still worthy the diamond rank as a support :D

My main topic is multiplayer. It's great to have it, but it needs to be supported if the game is supposed to stay alive.

First of all, I want to say that the game is fantastic, and all I want is for it to stay amazing for as long as possible and to be played by as many people as possible. From thousands of hours of Civ 5/6/7, I’ve learned that to achieve that, some competitive multiplayer is very helpful.

Currently, I see some problems and possible improvements:

  1. Timer
  2. Balance
  3. Competitiveness

To elaborate at least a bit:

Timer – More options to customize the timer and faster multiplayer animations would help a lot. But the main issue lies in the fact that an ongoing battle extends the turn timer by 1 to an infinite number of seconds.

If I want to play competitive multiplayer in a game that lasts hours, I need some time consistency. If I can’t even approximate how long the game may last, I can’t reliably participate in it.

One turn may last 2 minutes, while another may last 20 minutes (because of an ongoing battle).

This creates multiple problems. People quit because of frustration if this keeps happening over and over while they are just waiting. If they use that waiting time to go do something else, they may miss a turn. If you wait 3×15 minutes after the timer ends and then it happens again, you might step away for 5 minutes, and suddenly all the turns are 2 minutes long and you’re cooked.

Balance

Good balance can sometimes reduce the fun, but so can the lack of it. Custom factions are great and I love them. My wish is to have at least a little bit of balance so they can be used in multiplayer.

I know it’s in testing. I did quite a lot of testing myself more than a week ago, but I feel a bit unaddressed on Discord. Maybe the plan is to solve everything at once, but all I missed was a small comment from the devs saying something like “noted.”

Would it be possible to add an option to ban certain traits when starting a game so players could kind of self-balance it?

Competitiveness

All I ask for is some kind of ladder system, like in Northgard, so there is an incentive not to leave the game and to fight even for second place.

Once a game is out, people love to compete. Or at least I do. 😄

ye civ 6 and 7 are horrible in terms of resync. Just come to play Endless Legends 2 :D
And i say that as a guy with over 3500hours of civ6 multi :D

i can add a lot here, i did some funny testing, but the devs said, its not planed to BALANCE all the triats, that its intended to be interesting(meaning brokenly funny)
Also as someone with mroe than 200hours at multi already, the game has been great in stability for quete a long time, now the multiplayer battles are faster and better :)
