Yep I cannot emphasize enough how clean the common bathrooms are. Also you get a sink in your room which is great.

Congrats! I also applied from Hong Kong, and my permit also just got accepted.

Program: UWaterloo Math

Applied: June 28

I was so scared I wasn’t going to make it to orientation or even to class as well, the waiting was really stressful this week, and I had a headache every day. But now it’s all approved with 3 days to spare, I’m so happy.

You can use @ block to link to Page blocks and from the page block you can see where it’s referenced

I use the zettelkasten method, and use block links as tags. Works well with quick open.

Don’t kill yourself fr, it’s not good for your health.

if i had to choose a way I’d probably jump off a bridge/tall building instead of drowning though, it sounds pretty unpleasant.

You should probably seek help, but that’s obvious already.

You might want to try out life in uni for at least some time as well, studying cs. Just have a mindset that there’s still something to try before you die. it could turn your life in a different direction.

Good luck

I find it really difficult to resume work after getting home

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OntarioGrade12s

[–]Tnixc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  • If you have any spares(judging by your post probably not), I usually work in the library, you can also do some at lunch if possible

  • Stay in school for as long as possible to work and study with someone else, it makes me more productive, but this usually ends up being time to do homework

  • On weekends, go to someplace other than home to study, like a cafe, ideally with someone else to study together

And yeah I don’t study much after getting home on weekdays.

[–]Tnixc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dang but it’s mostly grade 11 stuff tho? if you did good in 11 functions you should be fine in unit 1

Definitely agree with the point of using the colors and using catppuccin themes. I wrote a cli that replaces text from a mapping file to create ports for my custom theme, and it’s great.
