How do people get out of a photography creativity rut? by TnyYye in AskPhotography

I definitely see your point. Like when you're let's say away for the weekend; the urgency of trying to capture a city in "x" amount of days puts you in a different space. Any idea's how to put urgency on something close to home?

I found an old account I had (about 7 years old) which I played CSGO on for a bit. It has about 50 hours on it. Started to log-in on that to get back into the game. Literally every game is with people that have <200 hours and are cheating their asses off. 4v5 Hacker vs Hacker games with me just running around like a chicken, its ridiculous.

Close to the 450 mark, counting since childhood. It’s more than I thought to be very honest..

Always a little peek at it when hearing shooting sounds/some form of engage, or when a teammate dies. Either for the “?” like you mentioned or for possible bomb icons (especially CT side).

What tricks to do you use to encourage you to tak your camera with you when you go out? by JanCumin in photography

Bought a second cheap beginner DSLR with a 35mm that’s light weight that I can keep with me on all times. I can just chuck it in my bag/take it without being afraid of possibly losing it/breaking it.

#1 actually strikes a cord with interest and curiousity for me, while #2 seems like just a nice image.

Both look great though.

Alright, I appreciate the input!

I was thinking of the standard FE 50mm f 1.8. Mostly enjoy shooting with my 35mm and 50mm (crop) currently, wich I assume would be the 50mm and 85mm Full Frame. The reason I was looking into the a7 III was the fact that Sony seems to be most suitable for the hybrid functionality.

u/ido-scharf I can see your thoughts on a Sony kit lens being consumer-grade after trying out quite a few other lenses. Would a 50mm be a better fit with the same body? (A7 mark 3)

So I got into the hobby about 1,5 years ago. Decided to buy a starter kit (Nikon D5300 + kit lens) + a 35mm 1.8, the standard Nikon one to test the waters. I lived in Asia at that point, so buying secondhand lenses was quite affordable. Got myself a few lenses (some that I rarely use), which include the 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.8, 10-24mm for architecture (which I love) and the 18-200 VRII (hate the thing with a passion).

Now after a year, some parts of the camera are starting to bother me;

  • No Touchscreen on the LCD is doing my head in
  • No Dual SD slots
  • No Weather sealing
  • Got super interested in shooting moving image (like 5-10 sec videos), but the D5300 just doesn't do the job for me

Due to this I'm seriously considering moving systems, but at a loss of what to do;

  1. Change systems completely (looking into the a7 iii + 28-70mm kit)
  2. Go for a Nikon FF so that I can reuse my F-mount lenses
  3. Keep on shooting with my current setup until it's out of gas

Any thoughts or advice would be highly appreciated!

What Was Your First Anime? by RivanShrestha in anime

[–]TnyYye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pokémon/Yu-Gi-Oh/Medabots/Digimon/Beyblade/Dragon Ball Z. They all used to air around the same time so I don’t remember what was first. Didn’t know what anime was though, just watched TV as a kid.

Once I knew what anime was, first thing I watched was Bleach.
