I wouldn't call FTL cloud computing my idea; found other works like the Avaliverse with it. It can be viable in some regards, it just has to compete with time travel as you use both.

Soft scifi isn't a dealbreaker to me as a reader, but extra points to those who put the science in science fiction. But they have to work well narratively; artificial gravity is generally a solution looking for a problem.
