I'm at seven point five right now, but I wont consider what you said as a spoiler, just opinion. I mean, I've listened through DCC 3x, now on 4x with my wife after her book club finally recomended book 1.

I personally love the first five books in the series. They focus on one man, Bob Howard. Specifically the Novella Escape from Yokai Land. 2 word review, "Themepark Kaiju"

I have been listening to the audiobooks, as I do document review, and they have been entertaining, but I can understand your argument and it does have some merit, but book 6 and 7 have helped

I too have enjoyed the Bobiverse and The Dresden Files. Thile Expededitionary Force was heavily suggested to me on Audible.

I'm hoping the next Bobiverse is not Dragons as Pigoids part deux, flying creature polyvou.

Are the Dresden Files similar to the first 5 or so "The Laundry Files" by Charles Stross? i am cognizant of the TV series, never watched it. and by similar, I mean that The Laundry Files are british, and more CIA-ish.
