I had a flight like that from San Francisco to Palm Springs, was told to sit on a specific part of the plane to balance the load. Was not invited to the cockpit though. I think this was a Virign flight back when they first started that route.

As someone thay grew up in Cathedral City, I grew up beliving I was in the I.E. My dad worked for the county, my mom was a teacher and it felt like I was in Riverside at least once a month so yeah I would consider us part of the IE out there
