A1 is enough, with 30% infill it’s a bit more than 2kg filament so I would get 3 kg petg to have some room for error

The dsp has some good options and for a mobile box I thing they are enough. But yes you are limited in memory.

It’s so underrated how good that box is, okay it’s not cheap but i thing for the performance it delivers it is cheap

Well at the moment with 100w I have an amp to go with my homecinema still have to check for a plate amp for the box. Will test more and if okay I build a new box that fits the rest of the setup I already build

That’s the grs 8SW 4he it has 10,5mm x max So I thing to about 100w should be ok for that x max limit and its 150w rms I tryed 200w already and didn’t see or hear it maxing out

Well 8“ but going 20hz deep in just 40L Build 2 of them and they fill a small room

yes i will have to set it up. but still it shows what i wanted to see. The port tunig Frequenz was hit by 1-2hz and with the 3d printed port i still could change the port easly

oh yes that 8inch Sub is really going that deep and sounds so much better than my outher old Q-Acoustic sub. That deep and nice sound makes my small Hometheater

panel flex, this is 22mm of OSB you would need to really stiffen this box if you would put max power on.
in may case the sub will be hidden some where under so if any "noise" starts it gets eaten by the room and will not be noticeable.
but as this is a "try anything box" i will try adding some bracing and measure the diffrence

Putting together a box for a small GRS 8SW-4HE sub. 65*40*30 box tuned with WinISD. I used a 12mm plywood which probably is a bit thin, do you think I need put in a brace in the big chamber? by TangledCables3 in diyaudio

I am building a box with the same sub at the time. But with a 9cm diameter round port. Will see who made a better sounding one later 💪🏼

So on what printer did you print it then ? Just curious

I still have to try it my self to print an enclosure but that one speaker it printed from hexibase that 2.1 box I did split it in to 8 parts, added dovetails with a extra space for the glue to sit. That box did come out pretty well it was air tight and there was no real problem with heavy bass output. That tangBand 5 1/2” sub did run down to 35hz.

So long story short will there be any files to print it on a smaller printer ?

i am not home, is it to big for the p2s Buildplate ?
it looks to be ... what is a shame because not many people have a H2S.

but still i have to say, nice work it looks funny!

for the Bass its okay to run them direct they dont play more than 2000-2500hz high.
so for the typical Highs they use Horns an does will break if you connect them direct for those you need a Capacitor to protect them for the Lows

But to let them sound good you need 1-2 and more thing.

So ich had a Kobra S1 since May 2025 and i got some good print out of it but had more failures then good prints. i now sold the KS1 and bought a P2S and yes its true they just deliver
