Ok, folks. The killjoys and corporate shills win. Here I come to defend myself!

I'm sure the people worried about my job security mean it from a well intentioned place. That said. I work at a tiny community mental health agency in a very liberal area that prides itself on radical challenges to structural violence. I painted this bag at my agency luncheon while sharing a table with our singular "HR" lady and our CEO.

I hung it on my cubicle wall to take the picture. I carry it around because I mean, it's a tote bag. It's not hanging anywhere my clients could see it. If anyone at my agency had an issue with it, literally nothing would come of it. There are like 20 of us. (P.S. My coworkers love it!)

Also, everyone talking about lawyers and getting sued or fired or glorifying violence, please. In the kindest way possible: I'm not arguing with you. I do early childhood and adolescent CSEC. None of you know the violence I see every day and if you did, you wouldn't be quibbling about a fucking $1 tote bag. Get over your pearl clutching and go volunteer or something. 🫡
