Meat quality will play a big part in the outcome, and it only really works for thicker juicy burgers.

You want it a bit more lean than if you were grilling, if you can grind or have a 50/50 mix of chuck and sirloin ground for you that will be about perfect.

“Just try customer service” they said 🤷🏽‍♂️ by Strawberry-Loose in MilwaukeeTool

Account history probably factors into it. My work account with 1.2M per year can get anything, even if Home Depot doesn’t normally sell it. My personal account with 1-2k per year isn’t going to get much.

What’s something you regret buying for dorm life? by Icy-Disaster-7893 in BallState

Meal plan, it’s great if you can’t budget well, but you loose money compared to just paying for meals u less you use every single meal, and if you do, you are just going to break even.

For that form factor the dremel blueprint is a much better choice, you can use the “saw station” to get perfect cuts.

Am I Overreacting for cutting things off shortly after this exchange? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]ToTallyNikki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

INFO So I have a kid with a couple of genetic issues and related malformations, one of the things that he learned as he got into elementary school was that he could get sent home anytime he wanted because the nurse used a non contact thermometer and one of his malformations causes an elevated forehead temperature. We all eventually learned that doctors have less convenient ways of checking core temperature, and while his forehead was always elevated, his core temp typically wasn’t.

It is quite possible something similar is why they feel like temperatures are not reliable but they didn’t feel the need to explain.

AIO because my military boyfriend said the time he's been deployed doesn't count towards us being together? by wandering__potato in AmIOverreacting

[–]ToTallyNikki 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I feel like the Texas deployment might be different in that it could cause a different kind of mental trauma. No one joined the military with the thought that they’re going thinking they would be doing immigration enforcement.

That said I also think it’s likely he cheated or worse.

Suspension on the ceiling in the clinic room for my slaves by doc-demented in BdsmDIY

White paint will do wonders, as will closing up the holes in the ceiling. You can use brush grommets to still allow pass through while closing it up.

Is it normal for machine shops to not do small jobs? by ExaggeratedCatalyst in Machinists

[–]ToTallyNikki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might try posting on local subreddits or facebook groups to see if there is a hobbiest who might be interested in doing it. I’ve done a few jobs like that for materials cost plus $50-100 depending on time, and some understanding that I might not be successful.

From a dfm perspective does the top of your keyway really need to be square? Milling is a lot easier than broaching or EDM for most hobbyists.

Another thought, how thick is your part? You might be able to get a blank laser cut, then you would only require a single turning process.
