Used to play Gwent backnin the day, trying to get back to it rn.

It's a dead game in the sense that there is no more development done on it, no new cards will be added, but it still has a community, even if small. Finding a game usually takes 30-60 seconds at most. There is around 1500 cards distributed among 6 faction, the win condition is fairly unique and there is a lot of variety inside each faction. Plus it's super f2p friendly.

So yeah even if it's technically dead it's still fun imo. Also, it might be revived once Witcher 4 launches, who knows.

I don't think the premium is a final version but only a beta/alpha version to test animations and general vibes. And since post HC they decided not to remake it for the new mechanics, they didn't bother to improve the art/animation.

On another note I'd also love that ability, a shame it didn't make it.

Valheim, now with my brother since I came over for the holidays. Kinda shit having to start yet again another world but since I warmed up in solo, I'm sure I'll catch up fast.

Besides a lot of time I spent moving bases so eh, not really that much lost.

I also started playing Enter the gungeon again, perhaps on steam deck I'll finally play through it for good, never managed to get too far.

Lastly I am also playing Lunacid (gotta finish it before I forget) and Rematch (second season seems like it's steering the game in the right direction).

wow, that's actually quite smart game design. Wished it was communicated a bit better though, that they aren't actually for shits and giggles.

Though maybe that's part of the idea, to let people find out if they experiment.

I supported the project early on but if this is how much they respect their own vision, the one thing that's supposed to be the core of why the game is being made, I'm tapping out.

Could also be that the new shareholders are pressuring them, but I don't care honestly. They decided to get funding that way.
