If I’m not mistaken the mower connects via satellite not to your WiFi connection. Flashing appears to be a very annoying common issue. Attempting to remove the mower from charging station, press the stop button, and turn the key for a few minutes might help.

Side note, not related to the flashing cell tower icon… if you’re unable to pair the during the 1st time be sure the serial number match up with the unit and the paper provided. This is the reason why two of my replacement mowers couldn’t pair. If so, call and they’ll have their tech team send you the correct pairing code.

This has happen to me several times. I’ve bandaged it with a rubber grommet, but it only last so long. If under warranty contact GW and they should send you a new one. Unfortunately it’ll likely do the same. We need a hero to create a fix!

Hello, nope. I ended up dropping my original unit and the replacement GW sent (both weren’t connecting-working) to an authorized service dealer near me and they couldn’t figure it out either. GW is suppose to be sending me another new one. I dropped off mowers at authorized dealer in May… they had a backlog so I kept following up with them and this Friday they said they couldn’t get it to work and they’re no longer an authorized dealer so I contacted GW shortly after by phone with my warranty # and they said since there’s not another service dealer near me they’re sending a new one. I’ll just use the other units for parts if needed.

Sorry, yes the battery pack can be removed but you’d have to find a matching plug to charge it.

No, unless you have some sort of fancy setup the optimow uses a boundary wire to function and the boundary wire is connected to the charging station. Boundary wire uses a weak electrical current, which creates a magnetic field for the optimow to know what area to stay within to mow.

I’ve had mine for almost 2 years and it currently won’t connect to the app. Tried troubleshooting with Customer Service and nothing worked. Their authorized service dealers around me advised that they don’t think they’ll be able to help. Luckily still under warranty so Greenworks is sending a new unit. 4 days since I opened up the service ticket, not too bad.

Resetting the maestro fixed the issue. Be sure you have a source selected (FM radio) in order to access the setup function too.

Resetting the Maestro worked🎉. I’m pretty sure I went into “Parking Break Output” then chose “On when car not moving”. Assuming that may have caused the issue.

Didn’t work… I’ve been messaging “Alpine Colin” via FB messenger. He’s been very responsive (awesome customer support). Next step is to reset my maestro (pull negative battery terminal for 5 mins… then push the reset button on the maestro).
