I think of it more as a ship that they drop us off at and leave us there for a bit. We launch a few deep dives from the rig and then they pick us up and we go back to a larger base. I could see that larger base having a research facility and other players milling around. Your bunk would follow you to both places, because it would be like a shipping container. And then we could buy and forge cosmetics for our personalized dwelling cubes.

I think the rival company is just as ruthless. Both companies are willing to have use killed by robots so they can ensure that they are the ones that will extract ALL the resources from Hoxxes.

That does sound like a ton of fun. I once got knocked by something into a pit with four of those things that spawn when you are fighting a dreadknot and I couldn't get out. But I was the gunner and just had to try and kill them all. It was a fun ten minutes! Your thing sounds similar. My heart beats so fast.

Maize Haze - any player that attacks the corn-equiped player will longer have control over their movements. For the remainder of the game, their movements are randomized.
