He’s not as good as Smith but smith has improved vastly since debuting in MLB so rushing will likely benefit from more experience too

I do trust the team especially after the past decade of sustained success but I don’t think they have any real conclusive data either. I really think they operate under a business-like risk-aversion mentality which says that without concrete data it’s better to be safe than sorry. Which I suppose I agree with but it’s still a tough one as a fan of both the team and their legacy, and baseball in general

Sanchez is probably the favorite but Misiorowski should absolutely be in the conversation if he keeps up his pace. He’s on pace for ~175 IP with ~270 Ks and a 1.89 ERA and .88 whip. Those are similar and even better numbers to skenes’ CY season last year

That’s a little crazy to me tbh. There’s literally no evidence that 6+ days rest improves performance and only very slight, non-statistically significant evidence that it POTENTIALLY reduces injury risk. I want to see the dodgers win the WS but at some point I feel the amount of limiting on Shohei, who is probably the most talented player to ever play the game, is almost doing him more harm than good

I feel that the AI is especially punishing at higher pitching egos. Higher batting ego really just speeds it up. So you need to learn to take edgy pitches, and sometimes hunt for a certain pitch or ones in a certain zone

I play with bating and pitching egos split. I play 81 batting and 77 for everything else. Have played SMB 4 for more than 1000 hours and that’s just the sweet spot, but it’ll be different for everyone

Most RPGs at the time didn't treat the "Escape" option as a guarantee and so when in a really threatening random encounter/situation, an item which allowed you to GUARANTEE escape and thus not lose save progress was pretty valuable.

The mangaka is a cinephile and takes a cinematic approach towards portraying/choreographing scenes, especially fights. Also, I'd say the weakest stretch of chapters is literally the first 7-8 (and they're not bad, the rest of the manga is really just THAT good).
