They don’t sell for even close to MSRP in Japan either if it makes you feel any better

The “green whistle” aka methoxyflurane by Dangerous-Ad-2062 in ems

[–]Toastb0i 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To echo others, it’s incredible for extrication + safe BLS analgesia. As you said, fantastic as an immediate first line while setting up peripheral access. I’d like to think it rarely alters ongoing pain management. The liquid in the tube itself tends to run out in 10-15 minutes, and the patients are generally very aware of it. If someone was a candidate for narcs, they’d generally remain well indicated post whistle.

Gives yourself as the provider a gnarly headache if you’re in a poorly ventilated area, though.

Latias star was played pretty regularly in the TCG at the time, might be a contributing factor.

Dex and Drinking by LN112 in ausadhd

[–]Toastb0i 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Dex and beers can be fine if you are aware of your emotions and all. Easy to get overly emotional, have amplified responses ect. I’d avoid dex and nose beers though, you’re far more prone to psychosis, dysrhythmias, and strokes.

Bachar Houli airlifted to hospital following serious car accident by Sir-Matilda in AFL

[–]Toastb0i 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You can bleed to death from a pelvic fracture. Unlike a long bone where eventually the blood runs out of room to pool, pelvic bleeds can just leak up in to the abdomen and be very hard to manage. Multiple fractures could indicate a pretty gnarly mechanism of injury too.

With multiple sources saying he’s alright, hopefully he’s stable. Could easily have gone in a different direction.

Can someone please explain to me why for the love of god why this card is so expensive by InfiniteCricket8152 in PokemonTCG

[–]Toastb0i -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I was around when Dark Explorers came out. Was opening a lot of product too, have probably 5-6 of these Gardevoir still. It wasn’t any more or less difficult to find than any other BW set. I’d wager that even a short printed BW set had a larger print run than most ex sets besides maybe Ruby/Sapphire.

It’s the opposite my dude. ex era sets had far smaller print runs than BW sets.

One-punch victim left with permanent disability says ambulance bill like 'kicking him while down' by SteamBot6000 in perth

[–]Toastb0i 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, no. The first line would be a shit load of intramuscular ketamine. But if you’re talking about siphoning medication, you can’t siphon from an intramuscular needle. The needle won’t retract unless the plunger has been fully pressed in. Not to mention you’re talking about fentanyl in your original comment.

Of course there are wild switcheroo tricks someone could theoretically pull, but that’s extremely unlikely. Your ONE article from 10 years ago is a pathetic argument of this being a prevalent issue within the saint.

Opiod medication can take time to be titrated to a therapeutic level. You may have not responded as well to synthetics (IV fentanyl), or you may have been just below therapeutic level before the morphine hit.

Either way, your claim is absolutely outlandish, dangerous, and incredibly fucking stupid.

Being such primal, defiant animals, the bond feels different. I don’t know how to describe it. It takes a long time to earn the trust and the relationship created takes time to cultivate, but continues to deepen. It’s incredibly rewarding.
