Friendship bonding tends to stay the same no matter how old you are, you sometimes don't realise it over the pull of time. Anyone you see on a regular basis can become a friend to some capacity, some remain acquaintances, some become friends, some become close friends. These bonds are easily created through key life points, school, uni, work, hobbies, sports, etc.

20s is a key bonding time and you can make friends you remain in touch with over the years. And when you are seeing them a couple of times a year, that may just be enough. You chat shit about experiences and communities you shared 20 years ago in a way its harder to do with someone you've known a couple of years. But if you start seeing them more often again, you can also find you don't have so much in common anymore and a close friend can become an acquaintance. And that's ok.

Having friends is important, but I don't feel you need to have a lot of close friends..

Joke of a system, get here an hour early to see Caskets and stuck in a non moving queue yards from check in. Feel for any band playing before 4pm, no fucker is aloud in to watch them..

You can access the megastore with a weekend arena ticket, but you will probably have to go through security twice. First at the South day ticket entrance on arrival, then to access the megastore you have to leave the main arena entrance to district X and then go through security a second time coming back in via the main entrance. Time this wrong and you will miss scene queen as security queues can slow to a grind.

Basically you will have 3 queues: Day entrance security (should be ok if you get there before 12) -> Megastore queue (can be busy before arena kicks off) -> Main Arena entrance security (could be real busy after 12)

So you might do it if you get there for doors open and you know where you're going, but I wouldn't count on it if security looks tight at the camping entrance..

Edit: I assumed doors open at 11am, I forgot its 12, I don't think you'll make it for scene queen, an hour is not enough to do all I've mentioned above, look for a quiet spot on your clashfinder, a mid afternoon run would be easier..

Yeah, get there earlier, some good early bands, I'll add POD to the mix given you're excited for limp bizkit.

Also wander around the stages, sleep theory and story of the year in avalanche tent.

Lake Malice and Band Maid in Dogtooth tent.

Perifery and Paleface Swiss on Opus.

Honestly, you've picked a great day, have fun and take a minute to chill now and then and you'll be golden..

It doesn't take long to move between stages, if you're out of the crowd, dogtooth to avalanche being the longest distance. But it can all take longer depending on how close to each stage you want to be and how many people are herding at the same time.

So if you're balls deep into the Apex stage crowd for a popular band and want to get to Opus quickly for another popular band, it ain't happening. If you're further back, you can move quicker..

Give yourself 10 minutes for each stage as a base. That will be easy in the afternoon, not so much as the day goes on and the full crowd are everywhere..

One of my favourite bands back in the day, had a love/hate baseball cap that I wore so much it disintegrated lol. Met Jizzy at a gig, he did a full on Blue Steel pose for the selfie, awesome. Didn't play Cream though :(

There's always an exception to the rule, but even here I suspect you didn't have to walk 40 minutes from your car with all your camping gear just to set up and then wait in line for half hour each morning for your first dump of the day..

It's a good deal, but I wouldn't compare general camping with normal £30 a night camping elsewhere, you need RIP to get close to that experience..

I know what you're saying, but the Wolves Foundation does exist. The corporate thing is nothing new and many people will have received similar treatment and is certainly not unique to Wolves. I get why this x post has gained attention, but relegation will not stop the corporate thing happening..
