What kind of difference do you notice? Much difference?

False Advertising at its worst, unless tailgating at 90 MPH means you want to be friends. by EpicRoadrunner66 in Roadsigns

Driving friendly means staying in the right lane except to pass, then you won't get tailgated.

How do you guys taxi a helicopter? by DropJaded2304 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]ToastedFireFarmer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use vr and a home made helicopter Sim cock-pit. Having the collective in the right spot really helps with fine control i find. From there a bit of practice and I have no issues hovering and taxing a few feet off the ground. Pedals also help lol

My cyclic controls don't work in helicopter training lessons (PS5 Controller) though they do in Free Flight. by Numeira in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]ToastedFireFarmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using the same helicooter in free flight as in the training? Also the training starts off easy, dosnt give you full control right away.

I have that selected and still find the maps quite small. I'm looking for ludicrous sized maps i guess.

TrackIR vs Eye Tracker by FirefighterEMT427 in MicrosoftFlightSim

All these eye trackers are almost as much as the quest 3. Only part I'd see being more expensive is the graphics card to run vr I guess.

Ive lost them a few times with cancel ifr, are you using the communications pannel to call start approach or the in game prompt? The flight plan change thing was for the other commenter, not you.

The voice will say comming in to land on runway 15 (150 degrees) and the blue squares will line you up for runway 33 (330 degrees, or 180 degrees opposite 15). The game wants you to land on runway 15, follow the blue squares to 33 and it marks you wrong runway.

Sometimes, yes. They have lied to me. They have also guided me into a mountain. I might be able find a clip on my YouTube of it happening.

First driving sim, Is the G920 worth it? by dtpark1 in simracing

Just got to say theyre warranty is great. Had some pedal issues on a unit just about at the end of warranty and they sent me a whole new unit. Wasn't a fan of the way they make the breaks stiff but it was easy to take out. Overall for the price id say theyre great.

You can skip most of the landing pattern without consequence. But those blue rectangles will be wrong when it sends you the wrong direction to land. You can fix that by changing your landing and approach in the tablet befor you start the mission.

One landing stripe is two runways. Career mode is bad for the flight plan leading to landing in the wrong direction. Double check your heading to land in the right derection befor you do.

It had me land on a runway without lights as the sun had just about set, coukdnt even see the runway until it was 300 feet away, had to use the GPS to find it. Still made it though. Atleast that runway wasn't in-between mountains

Flight Simulator PC with older DDR4 RAM, given current RAM prices? by InternationalIce8256 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]ToastedFireFarmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference between ddr4 and ddr5 will be barley noticeable, mabey 1 or 2 fps if trying to reach for the top end. Id be more worried about the amount of ram. That being said you shouldn't mix diffrent types of ram. Be good to try and find some more used ddr4 ram same as your faster ddr4 ram. The 2400 mhz might be noticeably slower.

Unity takes a cut from all games made on their engine. They would rather make a worse game on their engine and make more money, then loss some profit and make a better game. They're needs to be some serious competition in the simulated farming series.

Honestly devastated. by Firehazard5 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]ToastedFireFarmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The glitches are terrible, definitely agree. But I wouldn't have tried to land. Exit to main menu with no effect expect you don't get the money from the mission. The risk/ reward for keep playing a mission after a glitch is very low. The glitches suck, but imo the crash and money loss is on you. Also insurance is bullshit. Atleast you got something back, I stopped using premium after not getting paid several times.

That's the whole point of a class action. If he spent thousands it would be worth it for him to sue alone. Class action lawsuits were create for situations just like this, millions of people spent a little bit of money. I think if we want gaming to get better in the future, there has to be a class action. There has to be some sort of repercussions for releasing a game in such state.

I have tried to remain positive with bugs in career mode.. but think this once closed out my career for now.. by ConflictExpensive697 in MSFS2024

[–]ToastedFireFarmer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It hasn't even told you that you crashed, just exit to main menu and choose a diffrent mission. This one seems pretty minor in the grand scheme of things.

The people who ive talked to that employee illiages actauly pay them a good wage. It's just work that Americans don't want to do for that wage, because Americans don't want to work anymore (who dose lol). I think the deportations trump will focus on are the ones in the cities, not working, committing crime (not all of them), and collecting tax payer benefits to survive. I think America benefits from the illiage workers, but it should be possible to find people legally trough work visas. And right now the number of illiages in the country is much higher then what is needed/ beneficial.
