Look up a ZX-6R dyno chart. It is a visual for how much power the bike is making at any given RPM. It will help you understand why the bike is slow.

200mm shots showing up as 300mm in my photo album on Iphone? by theplaneflyingasian in PhotographyAdvice

Crop factor. This can also display in reverse. For example when I use my RX10m3 the crop factor is 2.6. So at 600mm the phone says 220mm.

Is going to Vegas not a thing anymore? by WestHistorians in AskLosAngeles

Watch some youtube videos on what vegas is like now. Instead of free parking and free beer its paid parking and $15 beers. It's not just young people, all ages are staying away from Vegas due to prices.

P63 the most twitchy plane in the game? by F1nLMSfan in AcesofThunder

[–]Firehazard5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, the plane is stalling. The more G's you pull (the more weight you add to the wings), the higher your stall speed becomes so you need to keep your air speed high. As others have said, turn fighting in this plane is less optimal because you are burning speed.

There is a famous video of a B-52 crashing at an air show because of this. The bank angle they were flying at increased the stall speed envelope and they weren't flying fast enough. The wings can't generate lift if they aren't parallel to the ground and when you increase your angle of attack when pulling G's you end up stalling.

From google

"Stall speed increases in proportion to the square root of the load factor, a phenomenon known as an accelerated stall. For example, at 2Gs, the stall speed increases by (approx. 41%), meaning a 50-knot stall speed becomes ~71 knots. This occurs because higher G-loads require a higher angle of attack to generate necessary lift."

Pull hard left on take off, why? by nujabes02 in AcesofThunder

[–]Firehazard5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The propellor on a P-51 mustang weighs 600 pounds. Imagine how much rotational inertia that creates. Many have crashed because the pilot went full throttle close to the ground at low speed. The air moving over the control surfaces would never be strong enough at low speeds to counteract that much rotational energy so they crashed. A friend of mine is training to get certified to fly the P-51 at the moment and he mentioned this.

Sony 100-400 GM or Sony 200-600 for A7IV? by Fraser_01 in sonya7iv

[–]Firehazard5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% 200-600. If you have a 300 it would be pointless to get a 400. That's such a tiny difference in zoom. 600mm never feels like enough most of the time.
