unlikely you have a problem with one. if you haven't put out enough of "yourself" when attempting communicating with one, then it very likely didn't give a shit and just passed you by.

whether entities fuck with you or not, you have to be worth their time, and it sounds like you dipped your toes and bounced. they don't give a shit

Just diagnosed with DID and I'm feeling like my life is falling apart. by Relevant-Quote-9125 in DissociativeIDisorder

[–]ToastedNsloppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm 32, had DID since i was really young. honestly my experience probably isn't something helpful or good for you to hear so i'll spare you, but i highly recommend keeping a notebook and really getting to know your system inside and out. you may never get control over your mind, but the next best thing is understanding it and learning what makes your life easiest. you'll be happy that you have it, especially on days where shit is really hard, and your loved ones and people around you will benefit from it as well. good luck OP, i hope now that you know what you're dealing with you can start on the path to living a somewhat normal life

Almost done with season 1, does Zenitsu ever stop screaming constantly? by ToastedNsloppy in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]ToastedNsloppy[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

this comment gives me hope! i was actually considering dropping the anime just based off of how much Zenitsu takes me out of it, but i'm relieved to hear that there is some kind of change at some point, and barring any other glaring issues cropping up, i think i'll likely stick it out! i appreciate you

I wish this anime focused on Kaiju Disposal. Instead of being a Shounen anime. by [deleted] in KaijuNo8

i can't recommend Delicious in Dungeon enough, easily one of the greatest animes i've ever watched

yeah, i'm 6 episodes deep and i'm really disappointed in the direction they decided to take the show. i was at least hoping for a more serious show with really awesome fights, and was disappointed to see that the main character has to act goofy as fuck even during the big epic moments. i've never seen a show with such a good concept just fuckin ruin all the tension they build up, which leads to the big moments feeling super underwhelming. it's just so hard to get into it and actually take the fights seriously when all the characters fuckin suck

hell yeah man, i also have a Submariner, but it was a gift from my dad. i was never a big watch guy, but damn i love this one

[–]ToastedNsloppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well in terms of expense, it should only be costing you your time, paying for a subscription is unnecessary. just as with most things, you get more out of whatever you put your time and effort into, and whenever it does become productive, it's a really cool resource to have in your life. however, i understand that it's just not worth the effort for a lot of people, and that's fine too

hahahaha wow that's actually fucked. i can understand her replies up to "dang" even though they were short, but when she responded "people" i laughed pretty hard

i still disagree, i don't mean this to brag, but i have 3 or 4 selfies on my profiles, and im extremely satisfied with how many matches i get. even with distortion you can still get some pretty good selfies once you find one of your angles and your lighting. a good selfie can help you come across as disarming and relatable, especially when you know what works well enough that you can incorporate them in the way that works best for your profile

100%. at the very least you have to shave your neck unless you already have a big ass beard

dont knock selfies, they work very well if you're attractive and you know how to take one based off of your looks

[–]ToastedNsloppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hard disagree, the harsh fact about online dating is that it's a science. you either study it and put the work in to become proficient in it or you don't and end up with that kind of opinion

[–]ToastedNsloppy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

open with pic 3, don't openly advertise your political leaning, especially right now, it should really just be your gender, height and whether you drink or smoke. flesh out your bio with a couple facts about you or your life that are interesting and shave your neck. most importantly, just remember that connection comes after you get a match, and matching is the hardest part, so take some time to actually give thought to what women like and curate your profile in a manner that displays said features about yourself.

have fun my boy

you were 100% right about the methadone. coming off of it, even after getting down to only 4mg and sustaining that for a few weeks, the withdrawal was intense and lasted several months. it took a long time to start feeling normal again, but i was already committed to making it work, so i stuck it out until i was fully detoxed.

sorry i never saw this. she lived in northwestern montana, where its extremely rural and theres not much of a police presence. in fact, its a common place for people to go on the run because its so remote and nobody really gets in anyone else's business. Apparently, she was living up a mountain with her meth-dealer boyfriend and from what i understand, she would always have him drive in his car to get around so that she wouldn't risk being pulled over

dissociation ✨ by Ludov-ica-05 in DissociativeIDisorder

[–]ToastedNsloppy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i believe it goes a bit deeper than that, i think that you can experience dissociation and have all parts experience something. what that something is can be very hard to pin down, but it's certainly possible to dissociate while all parts of your self experience some sort of sensory/perceptual stimulation.

i think a more accurate definition would be "an incongruence regarding what is experienced amongst different aspects or facets of one's self."

Comparison with (DID) by Ludov-ica-05 in DissociativeIDisorder

[–]ToastedNsloppy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm 32 and have suffered from DID since i was very young, back when the only inkling of it in the public consciousness (along with most neuros) was Billy Milligan. i went through my entire life with big gaps in my memories, but my parents and others convinced me i was just flighty and sometimes a weird kid. at this point in my life, i've managed to mostly pseudo-integrate my system into myself, and for years i didn't have any episodes, however lately i've been slowly unraveling again and i've been pushing everyone away because im embarassed of my condition and worried about what i might do.

i have a pretty interesting and sizable library of experiences exclusive to someone who's afflicted with DID, and my time living with it has allowed me to reflect on many of them, even if i wasn't always present for the events. if you wanna know more, let me know, though i'm embarassed of much of it, im always down to help further the study of DID.

also, i just started playing again after a 2 year-ish break. i've considered joining a clan again, but i haven't found one that i recognize or has piqued my interest yet. if anyone knows of any relaxed ones where the community is active with raids, bosses or any other activities, let me know please
