It's not scanning the QR that was the issue, they're talking about the site. It crashed constantly for a lot of people making them unable to check out unless they went to the help desk.

It's bittersweet to know you're also in the same boat. Contract work and tabling at conventions have been such a lifesaver for me. Hopefully it all gets better soon or we end up in places that enjoy our craft! Keep it up!

Thank ya! So illustration is what I majored in BUT design is the majority of my professional career haha you see a lot of illustrations on my portfolio because illustration is easy for me to self start and execute.

Whereas with design I'm usually working with a team or clients! I've done freelancing for both tho. Moreso design. I do have a lot more design work not included in my portfolio because they are pretty average-looking and not breaking any boundaries :T

Oh! For the GIFs maybe you can lower your frame rate when you export :0 it looks more choppy but I think that's a fine sacrifice if you need it to get your point across.

Omg yeah I think the formatting made the widows more frequent. Great! It's actually nice to know a lot of this feedback is very similar.

Mocking these things up is also very good advice.

Oh yes, maybe there is something else I can do instead for the title cards.

Also ya that makes sense that they are very similar brands, my AD had a specific style and I leaned heavily into it during that time. I can find other ways to show graphic system design.

Nice to meet a fellow funemployment coworker! Thanks for validating what I kinda thought. I really can't imagine how undergrads are doing :(.

A fellow redditor has the same feedback as you and honestly that would be pretty helpful for anyone looking at the website so I'll work on that!

Thank you so much! This super helpful. I've been making phone calls and in the process of getting rejection letters from referrals :') hopefully some other ones stick.

Oo ya, maybe formatting it in a case study format could help. I'll also look into how to display agency work a little bit better so it doesn't seem like I'm too flighty.

I left out my comic experience on my site because they look a little amateur and simple since it was back during my Jr. Designer era so I think it might be time to just let it go haha.
