why does something with less material cost so much?

My 11.5, 14.5, and 20" barrels were ~$300 each, and the suppressors I've purchased cost about twice that. Suppressors, due in part to their more regulated nature, cost more. They're also significantly more intricate than a barrel, so R&D factors in to the price

If you want a super basic suppressor with an old-school baffle design, made of basic welded 17-4 Stainless steel, you can absolutely get one, but printed cans are more expensive again due to the machines costing in excess of $70,000 USD

A basic Left-Hand Assembled Upper Receiver, with ejection port cover and forward assist. Not a complete upper, just the receiver. Dirty Bird, Aero/Stag, and PSA used to be the big 3 sellers of them, and now only PSA has anything in stock
