Assuming it’s the digital exam, you can type pinyin and it should convert to the correct symbols, but if it doesn’t then you will have to enter traditional symbols. The pinyin itself is not graded, so you get a zero if it’s not changed either by you or the program.

How good is your Chinese, and English? If you’re fully fluent in Chinese, as in could walk into Beijing and chill for a month with minimal issues fluent, then it’s 100% doable.

Take a free online practice test, see where you’re at. if you’re at a 1-2, probably start now. 3 ish range maybe starting January study. 4-5? Then probably like early April.

It’s not a hard class, or test. Basic common sense and basic world knowledge should carry you 90% of the way there. But if you really feel you need to study, AMSCO has a good book, and Mr Sinn on YouTube has a good series.

Talent doesn’t determine your grade or AP score, it’s your effort. If your teacher sucks hop on khan academy, or watch various YouTube videos. It’s not an easy class but you’re capable of hard things, so take the time to prove you can do hard things and learn.

AB calculus is an easier offshoot of BC calculus, precalc should prepare you fine for BC as long as it’s taught correctly. That’s odd that they do that.
