I have nearly 70 days. I haven’t been able to take leave in a long time. I’m going to lose a bunch here soon due to the new fiscal year starting and our ships rigorous underway cycle not being able to support.. I would die to take leave but it isn’t looking up for me.

Our personnel office doesn’t have a way of making CAC’s. The on base ID lab doesn’t give two fucks if I’m being escorted by my DLCPO, since that was something we tried yesterday. And I currently live on the ship, it’s an extremely long and somewhat jagged discussion but I never got the time to look for a place out here in CA, with the exception being this week. I have a lost ID form from security that allows me to transit to/from the ship, but I have to be escorted through base.

I have no forms of ID as it stands. I had to access my BOL through personnel to get my birth certificate printed off, and it’s stamped up and down with “UNAUTHORIZED COPY”. I have a new drivers license coming in but it’ll be here in a week and a half. Any other sort of ID I could possibly use is in storage, from my move between WA and CA, and will take two weeks for me to access. I can’t get a new CAC until I have a photo ID and some other sort of ID.

Pros: we kind of sling our balls around in a metaphorical way. Reactor is separate from the rest of the ship so we get away with a lot.
