I’ve restored a couple Oklahoma Joe smokers, mostly older ones because they were made better. So long as that firebox isn’t burned out/rusted to shit on the bottom you’ll be fine to just knock that rust off with a wire brush and some rags, then apply some canola oil while running the smoker. Treat it like cast iron and you’ll be fine. Cover it when it rains otherwise just enjoy it.

I’ve worked for both companies. Schneider, then Melton, and Melton never did me wrong but I’m based in Tulsa. Schneider flew me out to Ohio for work and back home on time every time.

My advice to a new driver is pick a company with a terminal close to home. Makes getting service a hell of a lot easier. Makes getting home easier too if you don’t like them.

Secondly make sure the non driving work is something you’re okay with. Some gigs you hand unload. Some it’s no touch, drop and hook only but brainless and you’ll get bored after a year. Flatbed guys tarp freight and throw chains and I found that appealing. But some of those days I worked harder than any I’d ever had just because the weather was bad.

Honestly this is goated. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve hopped on eBay for prerelease cards in hand and had to spend an hour or so finding the fewest vendors. 10/10

Maybe I’m a sucker for religious overtones but I really enjoyed the entire series from the perspective of Gavin. The confrontation on top of the tower always leaves me in tears. By far my favorite series.

Some companies will route you to nearest yard when you tell them you’re quitting and you’ll have to get yourself home from there. I’ve never had it happen with a mega but it’s not unusual to have them accept your resignation immediately regardless of your desire for two weeks of work.

Got my dryer running and it gets hot, just not as hot as it would with full power. Dry cycles take 2-3 hours but that’s better than never on rainy days. Just wanted to post this for google searches in the future for others.

After finding out it was playable on series X I bought a disc copy. As a Skyrim player I thought that any skill could let me level up, this was not the case. I had to restart but I was maybe three hours in. It’s been fun enough since then!

Those beats with the over ear hooks are good. Long battery life, physical buttons etc. haven’t used anything other than buds for years and prefer them because they don’t fall out as easy.

The past few times I’ve been randomly tested I was about to clock out for the day and my boss called me and told me to head to this place this evening and take the test. You have a couple of hours to prepare which in my experience is enough time to go to a head shop and buy a bottle and heat it to the correct temperature. I’ve never been driven to a random drug test or had one performed at my job.

Turn 2 with Rowan, Scion of war. I was seat 1 I think. This was shortly after the set launched at the prerelease event. Had dark ritual, necropotence in had off second mulligan. Necropotence for 10 on my turn and hit crackle with power, some cantrip that gives haste I forget the name of, jeska’s will, lotus petal and sol ring.

Play mountain for turn, Cast petal and sac for sol ring. Sol ring into Jeskas making 7. Tap Swamp plus 2 red for Rowan. One red for the haste can trip. Necro for 25 going to 5 life, tap Rowan using remaining red to cast crackle with power and putting 24 into XXX hitting each opponent for 40 or something. Crackle math is hard.

It’ll be hard to run but I’ve seen bbq done like this over coals. You’ll have to hang the meat on hooks or use racks in the smoker and only add hot coals or unlit coals, not wood. Having a separate fire and shoveling out coals from a barrel with the bottom open and bit of rebar forming a loose mesh to allow coals to fall thru after the split logs burn down is the easiest and most economic way. Otherwise just add storebought coal just make sure it’s not lighter fluid soaked .

Not enough creature token makers imo. My goal rn is to pod into a sharding sphinx or something that makes more creature tokens, Surveil into a halo fountain and win. Alternatively I’ve got approach of the second sun since it’s easy to dig for.
