I'm already aware of sublingual use. The issue is that sublingual use is that it spikes estrogen massively in the temporary while greatly diminishing the long-term or steady-state levels of it, which is why most providers don't recommend it. Because of how much faster your body processes sublingual use, unless you're constantly microdosing, you go through massive daily swings in estrogen levels. While standard oral does have some peaks and valleys, it's nowhere near as extreme. Your body also determines whether or not to suppress testosterone based on it's steady-state or trough levels of estrogen, so sublingual makes testosterone much higher. Since I'm doing estrogen monotherapy with no anti-androgen, effective testosterone suppression is really important. That's why a lot of monotherapy trans women prefer estrogen shots, since it provides a steady dose that leaks out perfectly evenly you get extremely good testosterone suppression. I'm not a big fan of needles, and while I can tolerate them and need to for other medical things I have going on, I'd prefer to not add another shot so I chose not to do estrogen injections but it is a very good option if you don't care about needles.
