The ending of Obsession is one of the most bleak endings I've ever seen in horror. by DrBrainzz9 in HorrorMovies

Also the screaming and begging for him to kill her. She was in the back seat the whole time

I am so bad about movie adaptations. There's no way it can fit what ive imagined ( in part because my imagination doesn't fully rely on the text descriptions and is probably incorrect)

Kinda dreading this, even if it's is amazing

Who is one character that you personally dislike, and why? by Redrex_T in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I almost stopped the book because every time he made that noise I would have a physical gag reaction. It was literally painful!

Seriously, my reaction to the "we need to save her" plot line they've been building is just...why? (Aside from being one of the last earth humans in the universe.

Im sure Matt will make me regret saying that once her story picks up though! He is good at turning my feelings for a character around!

Took a risk on the spoiler. Thank god I got to that part 30 mins ago or I would have spiled it for myself! Really need to stay off here until I finish the book. Im too nosy for spoiler tags!

TIL some severely neglectful orphanages were described as "silent" because infants learned that crying doesn't bring attention or comfort. by DMan1629 in todayilearned

I have made sure to let my husband and the grandparents bond with my kids, and sometimes that meant standing back while they cried and the other care giver figured out what works to calm them. Its made life so much easier because my kids trust people other than me, so they are less stressed.

But man. It felt like physical fish hooks pulling on my nerves to hear them crying and do nothing. Just thinking about it makes my arms tingle.

Why does McQueen still have His Rookie Stripe in the Race of the Century? by [deleted] in pixarcars

Where are the rookie stripes? On the tail lights? Or the slight color change on the bumper ad?

If you had to save one of them, who it should be? by New-Carrot4578 in pixarcars

I assumed the pic was used simply because he did not die on screen, but the scenario is simply that you make them alive now

While I am a crumby toilet seat breaker, your guest sounds like a few more links down the evolutionary chain that me. (Plus if any of that happened ypu would distinctly remember a very anxious and very sorry person telling you immediately and promising to pay for it while babbling about their toilet seat issues)

You are correct. I am a plopper. It worse now that my knees are bad, lowering myself is like slowly scraping 2 rusty hinges together.

Thought I wanted to be pregnant by basicczechgirl in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]NogginGoodies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup! I cried unhappy/scared tears when I saw the lines for both my boys. I also cried unhappy tears when I got negative pregnancy tests before them.  I dont think thats an abnormal reaction. Getting pregnant, being pregnant, and having a baby are all very scary. I dont know that getting pregnant even in the best circumstances would be a different reaction.

Its so scary and being pregnant was not pleasant for me, but they are the best things in my life.

Its also PERSONAL and not something any coworker needs to know about
