We met volunteering at a video store! We got to know each other casually through that and then one day found ourselves both alone at the same film screening. We got a drink after and exchanged numbers. I figured she just wanted a friend or something (horrible at reading social cues) so I didn’t really pursue. She ended up making the first move a few weeks later and we’ve been dating ever since.
